Well quite obviously, backpack.tf doesn't realize the value of collectible items and almost all of them are under-priced; Holloween Spells for instance.
Only three copies of this hat exist in the world and out of those three, only one of them is available for trade. Now I'm in possession of this one-of-a-kind hat and I have a B/O of 5 buds (I will never sell for anything less than 5 buds). Since I am the only owner, whether I sell/could sell or not, the price should be my price (because there is no other price to compare to):

Your B/O is 5. Then why is 6 in the range?
Because unusual offers would be overpay. After a while, there could be higher offers than B/O.
Backpack.tf lists all prices in pure. You are correct that, god forbid, somebody offers above 5 buds, it would be an overpay, but you would have to down-convert that to pure.
Well in fact 5 buds is the absolute lowest I would go.
And when nobody pays that, what do you expect to do?
Let's be honest. You are trying to up your hat's value. You bought it for a two-and-a-half bud unusual, and he added a bud. That's without calculating overpay. Nobody will pay 5 pure for a mid-tier one-class fetti unusual. Therefore, the price should not be 5-6 buds until that is paid. Until then, I suggest closing this to avoid the possibility of a ban for attempted price manipulation.
Seems totally legit.
If nobody buys for your price, there's an impasse, and the buyer wins that as the transactions do not happen.

blizz bubble pipe (2.3-2.8) minus bud 1.3

B/O 1.4 buds

sold at 1.3 buds (1bud 4 keys 5 items)

sold for bubble tree (1.4-1.7)
From my suggestion.
What does it have to do with this item?
I don't think you understand. This literally just sold to you for that price in pure. It has everything to do with this item.
Were you actually planning to offer me that price on my trade? I would definitely reject.
You got no proof of anyone willing to pay that amount for a green confetti bicorne.
Yes, it's rare, but rarity doesn't change the price of a hat that drastically.
I can buy a circling hearts bicorne (Do note that there are only three in existence too) at that price lol.
Sorry but I have to downvote this.
Well my point is, out of 3 there's only 1 tradeable. So it should be classified as collectible not unusual. Just like the under-priced holloween spells. Think again, please.
My point is, out of 3 there's one circling heart's bicorne tradeable and it's worth just slightly more than your suggested price. Think again, please.
1. It can still be unboxed.
2. Collectibles are not instantly the asking price. Nothing is.
3. Go update the Halloween spells yourself if they're so damn underpriced.
Give us proof, please.
If it's unboxed in the future, price would change. Is it unboxed now? Only 3 have been.
I should either be N/A or my price because no other price actually exists.

Really now. You really should think things over. We're not dumbasses here.
Well I agree with your logic. Unusual are damn hard to price because they're invaluable if you want them, however traders will just lowball you to resell it for more. Unusuals are so hard to price.
I can see him in your friends list, you know.
lol easy rep xD
