Just sold for 4.33 to a collector, buyer had mentioned that he had bought two for 4 ref the week before. Had originally planned to sell for 4.66 but there doesn't seem to be any biters.

Offer of 4.11 ref, someone agreed to buy for 1 key http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10037388
You sold it within a day. This is not a quick-moving item. I searched and offered around for a while before giving up and buying for 4.66. You were just impatient. Laggy seems to be buying as many as he can at 4 ref ( http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10146556 ) maybe he can weigh in.
gonna need some more proof than that...
And by that I mean you have a good point. What you say may just be true, but you need to show more than just your own trade in order to change a price for everyone.
Try posting some proof of other people successfully selling/buying for your suggested price.
Sorry mate, but they still sell for higher than this. I've had my eye on some at 5 ref where people offered 4.66 or 1 key, and it was accepted. I even sometimes buy them higher.
Ah! I was too quick on the draw then. I'm new to backpack.tf / tf2outpost so I'm still learning. I'll wait longer / get more proof next time. Thanks for the comments.
Im going through my history of every one I've bought now, some have been for a key when keys were 4.33, some were for 4 ref, one was even for 3 ref, although some were missing uses (3 ref one wasn't o.O) So it for sure needs a drop in price. Not enough evidence exists to show it though :/
you can still just close this and remake it when you have more proof.
