When taking the median of all the offers I arrive at 18 – 24 keys. As usual, I will use median for the suggestion. Even if you want average it would be 20 – 24 but average is not a good indicator as it includes outliers both hi and low.

why did you ignore the "Orb Planet Virt reality 28 – 31, Bub Drill Hat 26 – 31," and "2 hats worth a combined 29 – 36 keys" offers?

I ignored nothing. I stated that I used the median of all the offers. Also, average, which encompasses the high offers, still represents a major drop in price. Eight of these on the market, some for awhile, and only two offers near the top end. Both to the same seller. All other offers are well below. Buyers are saying the hat is overpriced. Remember, most of these sellers want pure. Its is customary to overpay in the case of an item offer.

you dont go be median of the offers. you go by the best offers. always.

Fewer offers at that price then there are of the item on sale. If one Dead Cone goes at high, then what? The price adjustment for the remaining ones would happen then. If all eight sell today it will be for much less than 31 keys. Its a five month old price and needed update. Please show a majority of offers that support a level of demand warrenting the 31 key high point.

i could have 13 alts go around all trades asking for 2 buds, and 2 other accounts ask for 2.5

according to what you go after, the 2.5 bud offers would be invalid because thats not what the majority offer

If you were discovered doing that there are severe punishments. Some people have argued that key proofs are like this. Most unusual owners wouldn't take the risk of falsifying c/o or offers in general.

Christley is correct. When going by offers, you only use the best offers. An offer is free to make and there are lots of traders happy to shotgun bad offers in the hopes of getting lucky on one. Only the best offers will typically lead to trades. If you want to apply medians or averages, you'll need to apply it to actual trade data, not on the offers.

Well it received a bud offer past 3 weeks. At that time buds were 27 keys. And you cant expect to receive the high end or b/o in 2 weeks for unusuals. Actually it did the offer of 2 hats combined 26-31 keys. Have to downvote

I understand your concern as you own one but the likely hood of you getting the high end isn't there. Again, the buyers are saying the hat is overpriced. Almost no offers of pure, even tho sellers asked for that, and the bud was already beginning to drop then. Would you be except if I offered you 24 keys pure for yours?

I don't mind items losing value it happens all the time on backpack.tf. But I find this unnecessary. You might as well lower all unusuals since they have offers below current price.

The first appears to be paypal and the buyer did not offer in post. The high offers were not recent and not accepted, could have been retracted.

If there are a majority of offers close to the top of the range then I would not have suggested on this hat. There are plenty of hats I have passed on for that reason. That is not true in this case.
