Seriously some admins need to be voted off imo. Its time for new admins who have more knowledge or at least use more time before accepting a suggestion.

But, yeah, I think 28-30 is more accurate than 28-29. And the proof on that suggestion was pretty shitty. Unfortunately, 75% of people who voted like it.

I know he is one of the first mods. But back then suggestions were lower quality and accepted way easier. Right now people want a suggestion till the last scrap accurate. Hence so many small changes. Times have changed.

Hence, the high end = 30, not the middle. He's just showing that 30 is still possible. Most sell at 29 = middle range.

While I am a member of the strange slinger cult... I have no doubts that there are 30 key slingers sold, trick is proving it... (maybe have another member of the group fake buy some) I'll throw out the net. Out of 100, there aren't many in the range. Interesting no 29s?

Agreed, this guy is making a new suggestion after 2 hours from the last one with MUCH less proof, he's got 3 links that have sold/offers of 30 keys. Nice counter-proof btw.

well yea now that price got lowered no reason to still sell at 30. thats usually what happens when the price changes, causes everyone to change their prices.

yep there are definitely a few mods that have no business being in the position of power they are in, but not all there are quite a few who are good at what they do.

I lowered my level to the suggesters level. I shouldnt have done that.

There were four strange gunslinger price cut suggestions last week alone, spurring a glut of strange gunslingers on the market.

One guy said he couldnt sell his gunslinger in 6 hours so he dropped his price 4 keys, then used that link as proof. Next guy posts 4 links, 1 of which is a quicksell, two links are less than 24 hours. Fourth guy posted the two lowest priced quicksells, used them as proof, then said that the actual backpack.tf price needed to be lower than that in order for people to sell. Median? No. Mean? No. Straight basement price, and it passed along with the other three.

If this isnt an example of a flaw in the backpack.tf system, i dont know what is.

Both 26 and 30 are outliers judging by the proof. Most accurate would be 27.5-29 but 28-29 is just fine for now.

Time to see if I can't tip this cow over one way or another. Out of 100+ trades looking for keys, plenty at 28. There are 0 at 29 keys but I'm sure classifieds will have some. I'm not sure if this means oh joy the spread is 28 - 30 keys or... so many people are looking for 28 its only a matter of time before people start looking for 27 >>

On second review, 30 key sales are limited to 3 sales, while most sales happen at less than 30. And there are sellers asking for less than 30. Tough call, I'll leave it to Puddinghead or someone else.

Believe me people wouldnt sell so low if last suggestion didnt pass. But as you see 30 keys is possible for this item. It takes some time, but thats with all high tier items.

28-29 is a better representation of what's the range at which the big majority trades occur.

Very tough pricing call here, as both the previously accepted suggestion and this one have some merit to them.

I'll abstain from voting for reason of bias; I own a S. Gunslinger myself.

Aaaarg, both are valid and have thier points so it very hard to choose.

Since 30 key sales happen,

significant criticism has been made,

my personal opinion that the drop of s. gs is very rash and slowing down (Just by looking at the market),

and that wider ranges are somewhat best.

I will accept

P.S. Puddinghead was the original mod, and he is our cleaning house guy so he does alot of brute accepting/rejecting. Without him, wed be flooded more than we already are the past few weeks.

Yet I can bribe people to write 'added' on 30 key outposts for slingers to protect my investment. We should take a look at the last set of 30 to see if they've sold. >>
