I think the concern is not his work (which is quite good), but his desire and ability to keep the discussion civilized and productive. Which to be fair, is a larger problem that occurs with key suggestions...not withstanding the quality of evidence is usually quite good.

If key prices are going up, then let him suggest higher prices. That is not where my problem with long lies. My problem is that he knows that people don't like the key prices rising, and he instead tries to rub it in our face. Kind of like there are people that can sell keys at 5.33 when there are clearly cheaper priced keys out there. And what's the point of having 4.88 - 5.11 when there are plenty buying at 5 ref so why bother with 4.88? Because the community likes a gradual change?

And I suppose the point of showing all current 4.77s is so someone out there can find either yes these buyers are buying and its working or no none of these buyers have gotten adds recently.

As much as I hate to say it, I feel if there is buyers AND sellers at 4.88, it sort of makes 4.77 irrelevant. However, 4.77 may be possible yet, we will see when the people scour the land for the precious trades which hold a glimmer of hope of slowing the unstoppable force that is currently the key economy.

What I meant with the intervals is that why is it #4 and then following it becomes #171? Are you running some code to go through outpost and read each trade or how do you come up with numbering your counter-proof?

I was not asking you to do it. My point was that too many people claim that you can easily get keys for less than 5 ref on servers. I always ask them to show me screenshots and no one has done it. Although there is pleanty of proof i doo feel that the prices of keys are rishing a little too qickly each day, and for days where it hasnt raised there are attempts to rais it. Im not disagreeing with the evidence given here, nor am i downvoting this suggestion. IM just wondering if the prices could slow down a little, just so everyone can get a grip of what happening for a short time before another suggestion. i hope i do, i have recently been annoyed at key prices but I guess we just cant fight it. Sometimes it plays in our favor but others, i just causes more hassel than its worth. Eventualy the market will even out but till then I guss its back to watching repeated changes in price

First off, 5.11 is still in the range. Secondly, it doesn't matter how quickly these keys sold. It matters how MANY are sold.

By your logic, I can station on the front page of outpost and will be able to get things at a much lower price than the range once in a while but that does not mean those items need a bump down because the majority still sold for a much higher price.

The person of one person selling something way cheaper than the current price is as low as the percent of 4.66 sellers comparing to sold sellers at 4.88 or above.

I'll explain you something you appear to not understand. As an example, I recently sold very few keys for 4.66, and put up a separate selling trade for this. I don't sell them for any higher because I don't support the rise in key price. I also don't like selling to the 4.88+ buyers, because most of them resell the keys for profit. I personally think greedy resellers trying to get .33+ profit out of a key are what caused this inflation, that's why I don't sell to them. I even check my buyers outpost profile, and I refuse to sell to them if they have a trade where they're selling keys for metal. I hope this helps you understand. Not everyone on outpost is a greedy, key reselling c**tnugget. Forgive my language, I really hate them.

There is less than 1% chance of you getting a key at that price. Even if 5000 of keys are at this price. It's still less than 1%. There is not a high enough amount to be included in the range. Anyways, why isn't 5.22-5.33 in the range? It's certainly possible to sell for that much, because there aren't enough trades happening at that price.

I feel that no matter how much we try the keys will continue to rise. The only way it will go down is when keys begin to get a bit too high and become equivalent or more than the price of keys from the mann co. store, because if the real money price of keys get too high it would be much easier just to buy at the store the the influx of new keys into the market would stabilize and maybe decrease the price of keys. Only way this wouldn't happen is if the price of refined goes down in price, which it hasn't for a very long time.

Once key reach 7.14 ref(the equivalent of $2.5 in refined), metal will start losing value(mb even before 7.14) thus it will always cheaper to buy somewhere else beside store.

I don't know when it would be, I'm just thinking of something anything really because it just really sucks keys are continually going up.

If people are selling for 4.77, wouldn't it just be bought faster since it's less than the suggested price? Copying and pasting proof form a past suggestion doesn't qualify as "counterproof" if you actually checked your own links, you'd see that a lot of them were closed a week ago, and most are at 0 stock. And one week trades for keys are waaaaaaay too old, as there have been like 3 6 price changes between that time, so most of your "counter proof" is useless.
