Well if keys sells for 4.66-5 its just simple math this should be only 2 refined at a max since a key is 2.5x more value.

The price of a key does not change the price of a completely unrelated item.

well a key cost $2.50 usd, and a ticket cost $1.00 usd, excluding outside purchases from lower priced 3rd parties. If you included that then the price would go down even farther. My proof is right here http://store.teamfortress.com/
First of all, we don't judge the price on Mann Co. Store price, or the Phlogistinator would be 4 keys. Second, I'm still not getting your values, and third, we go via Paypal, not Valve.

Well I see a ton of seller and buyers on here and outpost at 2 ref I guess you can charge more because people are desperate, but I just don't see nearly half as many people buying at those inflated prices.
