The demand for this is low. There are still a lot of these floating around at the older and higher prices, but they are going unsold. 5.5 (maybe even 5) keys is possible, but if anything, the price is trending down.

I personally ended up selling the S. Sapper for 1 S. Grenade Launcher, 1 Key, 1 Ref, and 1 Frying Pan (under 6 keys)

Also to note, there are a lot of people trying to sell for 8, 9, 10 keys+. But they are old trades that keep getting bumped or people who actually think this price is going to rise again. Who knows, maybe it will.

This is premature. Lowballs, shouldn't affect the price of an item. That unsold at 5 keys is sold, and it was sold very quickly per his outpost trade. There are actually a few still selling at 7 keys to counter the ones selling at 5 keys. 6 keys flat is the right price for this. I'll post a bunch of proof later.

Almost.. haha. Another suggester made one for 6-7 earlier today. But the reality is that there are just as many selling at 5-5.5 as are selling at 6.5-7. Really, 6 flat is as accurate a price as there is for any item.

He tried pushing the price back up earlier, but I offered evidence to the contrary and he closed it.

If anything most of these trades (combined with the ones I listed) fall within my range suggested. Key value in items is usually overpay and the 7 key value was when the price of the item was higher (it is lowered now).

Actually i DID NOT close it because of you, your comment made nothing i closed it because Blind Polar Bear had strong evidence it should be 6 flat which is what it is now and it should stay that way, going lower makes no sense

and about the demand it's low ONLY because it's unstable for now, people want to wait till it hits full bottom to buy for usage

5 keys is very possible, but buyers are putting less and less value in the Strange Sapper.

Ok, now lets compare our proofs. You have 4 selling/sold under 6, I have 8 buying/sold over 6. You have 5 unsolds at 6, I have 15 offering/sold at 6.

Your unsolds at 7 are meaningless. And your offers only aren't that informative either.

7 keys is just as "possible" as 5 keys

There are sappers being sold at 5 keys, even sappers sitting around for a while unsold at 5 keys. The "over" is from items and items are usually overpay as people prefer pure.

Also, some of those items are old and are from when the price of the sapper _was_ higher, but it isn't now. Demand is dropping and even 5 keys is very possible right now.

Some of the links you provided aren't even that accurate, a few examples:

If anything, 5.5 - 6.5 seems like it could be possible, but there isn't enough going on in that direction. More people are wanting it for under 6 keys or under and there is little demand.

Ok, second is a fair point. Didn't see that the last offer was 2 weeks ago. First link is 6 in items.

And of course more people are wanting it under 6 keys. But more people are wanting to sell it for >6 keys. Either way, if you are just admitting 5.5-6.5 is accurate, then 6 keys is better than 5.5-6.

I didn't mean to word it that way. I think right now 5.5 - 6 is accurate as the offers of overpay were in items and there are many for sale at 5ish keys right now. It sucks that this is dropping because I really like the S. Sapper

I do too and was waiting for it to bottom. I was just glad I got 7.5 keys for mine 5 days ago.

Maybe we'll get a S. Red-Tape with Mini-Sentry Sapped part. That would make up for the loss in value :)

Man this S.Sapper is kind of important , i know was very expensive but ... i think 6 key is a good price , no going lower...

It's subjective on which strange you think is the best. But the Huntsman would be the most expensive Create #40 item if this passes. But all the items from that crate are dropping.

Huntsman = 6 keys
