so I opened tf2, got on a server, started doing bad and died. Found a salvaged crate #50. Checked the price on backpack.tf, claimed 7 keys, updated a few days ago, checked outpost, and saw that the price was outdated.

checked classified listings, 15 unsold at 7 keys. and two for sale at 6.5 keys.

conclusion: crate 50 is dropping in price, 7 key ones are becoming harder to sell, and under 7 key prices have appeared.
