I noticed the range on the #21 is outdated.
Sellers at 2.33:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10291678 > My own trade. I used to sell them at 2 but people are paying 2.33 for it too (see picture proofs below)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10517342 > added (I traded Monnky too)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8738385 > Lots of adds, although not in stock sometimes.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6845204 > Again, adds for #21. Also some offers on 2.00 ref.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10289648 > Some 2.00 offers (izz_ ♡ @ MvM), but also 2.33 offers (SuicidalGoat)
Sellers at 2.00:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10591909 > added
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10494970 > added
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10572462 > added (very recent!)
Here's my trade history to confirm the 2.33 trade actually happened:

----------------------------------------------------
There are no buyers on TF2OP. No buyer proof :P
There are only 2 pages of sellers on TF2OP. Almost all of them at 2 or 2.33 refs. Also some out of this range, but, they get sold very quickly (below 2 ref) or won't get sold (above 2.33 ref)
And yes, I own one. I sell them daily. Sometimes I own 5, sometimes I own 0. Today, it happens to be 1.
Happy Voting!
Most of your 2.33 links haven't sold any, and the "adds" are not justified, since the item history still shows the crates with the owners. Could you provide more 2.33 links? Also, your 2 ref added link that was very recent rejected the offer that the person put.
I forgot to add this in my main post. I agree the trades are a bit sketchy on this part because there aren't any crates in backpacks after trades usually.
Reason for this: people uncrate them instantly after purchase. The same applies to my customers. People often tell me what they've got out of some crates after buying it from me.
I can't do much about it as there's only 2 pages of sellers on outpost, and you might have a different perspective on crates than me, but I think I have been clear with one of the proofs being my trade history that 2.33 is very possible.
the item history doesn't always go on OP, like for a name tag I sold, it says I'm still the owner. The buyer used it.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10364873 - seller at 1.88
shows that 2 may not be right as low end.
i frequently am able to get them below 2. yes maybe marginally but i think 1.88 would be a more suitable low end
I'd rather call that price an outlier. You can see there are instant adds and it's only 1 trade on TF2OP. I haven't found any recent ones that are lower than that, and 1.88 comes very close to the range of 2.
Remember, Backpack.tf should only be a guideline and not a bible, I think, generally speaking, 2 is suitable.
Yeah, seems about right. I'm your link #2, and my last #21 trade went by pretty quickly as well at 2.33 ( http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10324927 ). For full disclosure, I also buy these at 1.33 and it is very slow. I think I've only bought 2 of them in a month.
Agreed.
http://backpack.tf/item/347878422 Milkman024 bought a few for 2 ref from me, as shown in the item history on one of these. I can't provide any proof on this because he just added me without note on TF2OP, but I'll provide the link anyways.
http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/5874/33532162.png - for what it's worth, I just sold my #21 to another guy for 2.33
And I just got a comment on my trade:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10291678
"Added for 21 for 2.33"
1.88-2.33 would be better but currently price is pretty low
