I personally cannot believe this was reduced.

Furthermore, I am not manipulating the price as I have not altered what I sell my tickets for since the price reduction (Was selling for 2.22 each / 2 to a key, I still am).

My own personal trades (names blurred to stop hijacking, amateur paint skills right here):

key as 5 refined (we all know they're worth more, but again, being conservative)

http://puu.sh/2NZk0/abe575e071.png - works out as 2.38 each. You won't know this and I can't prove it but I gave him one for free (2.5 each)

There area a few more going back a few more days but you get the picture.

I'm not saying people cannot sell for 2/2.11, I'm just proving that higher is possible. I am remaining conservative and saying 2.33, instead of the 2.5 proof I provided.

I'm not going to find proof of 2/2.11 sales, I understand that they still occur often. I am simply suggesting the max price be extended, as clearly people are able to sell for 2.33 quite well.

scrap.tf is selling them at 2'11 and they are not so hard to obtain.

i don't think this should be rised, at least for the moment.

They are not hard to obtain granted, but if people are able to sell for 2.33 the price should reflect that. Overall the price is not actually being changed, it is just being extended.

people are able to sell that at 2.66 too, but who will be buyers?

His point is people buy for 2.33

I.just don't understand how people buy them for 2.33 while it is really easy to got em for 2

they aren't really easy to get for 2 ref. And im not explaining why people buy at 2.33 again, read my comment below.

I can't be here from my pc soon so I can't provide counter-proof. I feel awful. It isn't a problem to me to got them for 2ref, but if you change the price, everyone will sell it only for 2.33 and more

don't worry, scrap.tf prices change almost everyday

then, when they change ill upvote.

Just as you say, still can be bought for 2 ref if you look hard enough, and 2.33 each sells if your patient. I should know, my trades your first link of proof :D People don't realize just because someone sells for 2 ref it doesn't mean there ready to sell to you instantly, people that want to play NOW spend a little more on tickets to get right in the game. It's the same with everything, want it instantly? Pay a little more, that's why this range very well reflects the current situation. Easy upvote!

On every trade server I was playing everyone were selling these for 2ref, couple of 2.11 sellers and I has never met 2.33 offers.

      Lowered by 2 scrap? UNBELIEVABLE!

Sure, maybe the odd person will buy them at 2.33, but a huge amount of people who sell them at 2.22 and 2.33 don't have them sold. Why raise it when a those aren't sold and only a random few actually buy it for that price.

Because its about accuracy. The fact that several people have sold many for that price and higher means the price is inaccurate. And again, I'm not even raising the price, just extending the price. If I was raising the price I would have put the range at 2.22-2.33 and I didn't.

The range was brought down for a reason. People weren't able to sell at 2.22/2.33 as there were a huge amount left unsold on outpost/classified. There's no point in doing this again.

Well there clearly is as I have been able to sell for 2.55 and clearly others have been able to sell for 2.33!

there are impatient people willing to overpay for every item out there. The huge majority can not sell for 2.22 or 2.33. Why not go around extending the range for every item out there. I'm sure some people have overpayed slightly for things they want right away.

I'm pretty sure no one I have traded has ever been so desperate for a tour of duty ticket that they won't go elsewhere. The fact that I and others have sold such a large volume is proof its not one or two people buying a ticket here and there out of desperation. I have one example only, out of all of my trades alone, where someone willingly overpayed using two hats for 1 ticket, and that was because he was about to go start a tour with his friends and needed it urgently. Others have added me and waited several hours whilst I havent been online just to trade me, ample time to find people selling for less. Therefore your comment is quite stupid and entirely nullified.

You do realize that when people post they are selling tickets for 2 ref, people instantly buy them so there will be people who will pay slightly higher just to get some. "I'm pretty sure no one I have traded has ever been so desperate for a tour of duty ticket that they won't go elsewhere." Can you prove this.

"Therefore your comment is quite stupid and entirely nullified." Quite ignorant thing to say.

You also have not sold a large volume and most of those trades were weeks old.

                  http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10557954

Looks like you're just trying to raise the price to sell yours at 2 for 1 key.

Stop being an ignorant child, it won't get you anywhere.

I give up. You are just ridiculous.

I've already told you people keep my added for hours even when I'm offline just to buy from me at my price.

I'm not ignorant, I'm just proving you wrong, again.

I'm already successful at selling 2 for 1 key so I don't need to raise the price. Try checking the proof.

I have sold large volumes and my last trade was not weeks ago but yesterday. Again, go check the proof before making up accusations. Here's a start for you http://puu.sh/2NZk0/abe575e071.png.

Stop being a stupid child, it won't get you anywhere either.

Can you post more RECENT proof from other people selling successfully at the new range you suggest?

You have 1 trade yesterday and the other ones go back weeks which screams that person quickbuying.

The current range is fine. There are people who can't even sell at 2.22.

                    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10124503

                    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10311109

I'd post more, but you can look for yourself as I don't want to waste more time with you.

"I've already told you people keep my added for hours even when I'm offline just to buy from me at my price.

I'm not ignorant, I'm just proving you wrong, again"

You aren't proving me wrong there with that statement, just further proving to the community how incompetent you are.

Scroll to the bottom is all I need to say.

You clearly cannot comprehend that I have sold within the new suggested price range yesterday and again six days ago and that this is me alone! Not the other dozen or so traders able to do this.

''Large volume''? You've provided no screenshots at all from when you've sold any in the past 4-5 days.

          I had a hard time trying to sell for 2.11, so how anyone is able to sell for more is amazing honestly, don't think it needs a price bump;

Again, I'm not raising the overall price, only extending it because others have been successful at higher prices! 2.11 will remain in the price range. Furthermore I have only seen one trade where you are selling an individual ticket (always harder to sell one than it is multiple) where you are asking for 2-2.33 and 2.33-2.66 http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10508163

I had 10 tickets actually, was trying to see if i could get a festive with one. It didn't work out

I guess you talk about this trade http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10508163

It is allways harder to sell for items then it is for currency as you need buyers who at the same time want to get rid of the items you are looking for.

I like how the price goes to 2 - 2.22/.33 and then down to 2 - 2.11 and then back up. I just see a loop going around and around. I think it should be 2 ref since that seems to be a very common price.

That is a rather silly suggestion. I and others have sold for 2.33 and higher, others have sold for 2.22, and people still sell for 2.11 and 2 refined. All I am asking is that the price range reflect this, because 2 ref is by no means 'a very common price'.

I never said that it should be 2 ref flat. But 2 ref is, in fact, a very common price. You can easily buy them at 2 ref if you just ask for that price on outpost... just saying. But yeah, that extra scrap or two makes a difference, i guess..

You say you see loops going around and around. You must be new here. Reserch prices on KEYS and we'll talk.

Well, I can see that you are new here. There hasn't been any type of loop when it comes to key prices. You might wanna re-check that before you go around telling people things you don't know.

EDIT: Also, judging by your other posts on this suggestion, it looks like you REALLY want this one to pass...

Whether directed at me or likeomgrofl - clearly I want this to pass because backpack.tf is meant to show current selling prices. Over 35 links of proof show that a price of 2.22, 2.33 and higher has been and is possible consistently since the 25th april and onwards, particularly within the last seven days (consider this is two days old now as well).

Don't worry man. I was talking to LIKEOMGROFL, not you. :)

And also its cuz it looks like this guy is talking smack to others trying to provide counter-proof and he keeps talking about keys when this suggestion has to do nothing about them.

The last price drop was ridiculous and only got passed because of the admins decided to base their action on the votes which were mostly positive because no one wants tools to keep rising .

Here's some of the tickets I sold for 2.22 before that suggestion :

Also I believe using scrap.tf here isn't very reliable as I think they charge a rec for the first purchase now ?

Again, I don't know where the sales floor traders are. TOD tix sell for 1.66 to 2 in the servers. You will only see it go for 2.3 if the person is desperate or impatient. No reason to bring the bottom end up on these, they sell for 2 ref tops pretty much 99% of the time, with most people flat out ignoring traders asking 2.3 for these. With the robokey/robocrate coming up, I have seen a marked increase of 2 ref buyers/sellers over the 1.6 range with the expectation of an MVM update, and people are looking to stock up on these. But 2.3? No way. Even casual players know that's overpay in metal if they can get these in the store for $0.99 or (most of the time) cheaper from marketplace.

You can just buy a key in the store for 2.50$. And yet they are selling for over 5 ref. wheres ur argument now?

I bought 5 at 2.00 and know personally lots of sellers at 2.00

P.S. I can't provide counter-proof right now, because I'm here from my phone

You provide nothing showing proof at 2 ref. He's proven that it can be sold for 2.33, you showing proof of sale at 2 ref just reassure the new price range

Then it didn't happen until you provide proof, sorry. And as the chap above explains, I'm simply creating a new price range. I don't doubt that tickets can be sold at 2 or 2.11, I am simply asking the price range reflect the fact that many are successful at 2.22 and 2.33 and higher.

We understand, that it will be the begin of wave of TODT rising, and no one needs it. I just know.that if range will be 2-2.33 everybody will sell it for 2.33, and we'll loose 2ref offers. As I said, no one needs it.

lol. Your counter argument is no one needs it? Do we need KEY PRICES TO RISE? I'm done here.

Not even gonna mention the fact that there is a BIG MANN UP UPDATE coming soon. People are investing now to cash out when the update comes. Remember those robo crates? Hype creates demand rise, and thus price rise. You didn't hear it from me.

It is an argument to me.

But still, I hate, then people are raising the price of keys and tickets. Easy example:

                                  we make price 4ref

                                  people selling for 4.11

                                  we make it 4.11

                                  people selling 4.22

                                  we make 4.22

people selling 4.33, coz they understand that price is rising! We can stop this useless rise, but you are looking only on proof. Everytime this was enough, but not now.

No it won't. Your counter argument is irrelevant speculation. The price range should reflect the prices we are easily able to sell at. That is what bp.tf is for. It is not designed to represent the prices 'no-one needs'. If so many people sell for 2 and 2.11, and the range still includes 2 and 2.11 refined people will continue to sell for 2 and 2.11.

But if you will set price 2-2.33 they will not be sold for 2ref anymore

When the price was 2-2.22 they still sold for 2 and 2.11, increasing the range will allow for this to continue. I am not increasing the price, so people will still sell at 2

eh, I just don't understand your logic. For example, somebody got extra ticket. He wants to sell it, but don't know the price. So he looks at pricelist - and OMG it is 2-2.33. How do you think, he will sell it for 2 or for 2.33?

Ok, you won this discussion. It is just awful to see how tf2 economy crashes, and understand, that you can do nothing to bring old economy back. Eh, there were old, happy days, when keys were 2.66, TodT were 1.33, buds were 27k. But now all this shit is changing, keys and TodT are close to be 2x of their old price... I hope that will stabilize one day.

I am hoping keys will one day drop in value and re-stabilize everything / metal will go up in value again because there's an actual use for it again. Until then tf2 is going to suffer from some crazy inflation. I firmly remember those days and cherish them!

Just some counter-proof from my own experiences, I think it's fine in the current range.

It's not counter proof if you're selling at the current range and the new suggested range. I'm not raising the price so showing proof of selling at 2 / 2.11 is not necessary. Showing trades where people cannot sell for more is counter proof. I'm simply extending the range to suit the fact that I can easily sell for 2.22-2.55 and more as key prices continue to rise, as can others.

                            http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10588329 - sold for 2.33

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10572610 - now only has two remaining at 2.22, had three at time of posting

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9378715 - last apparent add 1 week ago, unsure if further trades have been done

So...if you are selling for 2.22, your own proof does not even reflect the 2.33 ref part. All of your other trades show 2.22, and you only have 2 sorta valid 2.33 trades.

2 ToD Tickets for a key. Did this trade 5 times!

It was insane that this price was lowered, and I argued but to no avail

                              Absolutely concrete and recent proof.

                                Thanks bro <3

To be honest it may be complicated but since ToD tickets are often being sold at 0.5 keys, perhaps the range could be made in keys instead. But obviously when selling for metal you can get slightly cheaper so mayb it wud be best at something like .45 -.5 keys. That way when keys go up, the price of ToD tickets go up too, as it has been since the key rise started (when ToD was 1.33 and Keys 2.66)

                                  1 week old

I still didn't get why all those people disliked it...

(I am not one of them tbh)

Plus if you hate me pls dont write a mean comment or dislike this comment pls

Congratulations on adding to my proof? All that does is show that people still sell within the newly suggested range of 2-2.33. You have clearly interpreted this as a price rise. It is not. The new price range is not 2.22-2.33, its 2-2.33. The price is not going up, the range is just extending to account for the over 35 links of proof.

                                        You are rising the price.

Besides that your proof is either quiet old or doesn't really show that it actually sold for 2.33

Raising the price involves raising the bottom price too.

I am not raising the bottom price.

Thus I am not rising the price.

My earliest proof is from the 23rd or 25th to show how consistent sales are achievable.

Then the remaining 99% is from seven days or earlier (most is earlier). Try looking at the full list of new proof across the entire discussion before making up sweeping statements.

You seem to forget that backpack.tf counts the middle of a price range for every item in your backpack. So, you are indeed rising the price.

If you are not raising the price then what are you doing? Keeping it at the same price or even lowering it?

I'm doing what backpack.tf was created to do. Show the realistic price of items. Nothing more, nothing less. I do not care if my backpack rises by 12 cents or whatever puny amount it is because I'm not selling them for cash. People like you are the people against any kind of price rise and you instantly assume that anyone raising the price of absolutely anything is doing it for personal profit. I have ample and concrete proof that 2.33 (and higher) is easily possible, and the range should reflect that. I am not saying it is impossible to sell for 2, or 2.11, which is why that was included in the range still. Next time you jump on the 'he's manipulating the price' band-wagon at least have a point, argument and a shred of evidence.

Is that comment really adressed to mine?

You're arguing with someone who posted this genius of a sentence

"Furthermore, I am not manipulating the price as I have not altered what I sell my tickets for since the price reduction (Was selling for 2.22 each / 2 to a key, I still am)."

He doesn't understand that there are many 2.22 and 2.33 trades consistently left unsold and has never been in a trade server in his life as he's one of those people who in his mind is always right and everything else is garbage. It's best to leave these sad people alone and let the mods deal with it.

Conflicted votes, on the negative site.

A great deal of contention over the provided links, particularly regarding their success rate. There's no denying that a ticket CAN sell at 2.33, but sales CAN happen for less than 2 ref as well. How frequently one can sell at a price IS an important factor.

Just too easy to find for less than 2.33 when buying for 2.33 to be included in range. As the votes indicate, just too high a bump up. There may be more merit to 2-2.22 ref.

                                        Closing.
