I AM NOT DOING THIS TO INCREASE MY BACKPACK PRICE, ALL THE PROOF NEEDED IS DOWN BELOW

First of all here's the last suggestion - http://backpack.tf/vote/id/518a611e4bd7b82b6800000f

Now there are many flaws to the suggestion for example :

The suggester used a very young or new trade such as the first one for example

1. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10628501

Only 1 day old(at the time of posting) now 2 days old, meaning hardly anyone had a look at the item for sale but nonetheless the seller got a bookmark for a B/O of 3 buds which means that he has a potential buyer.

2. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10598988

Another new trade, only 3 days old. Selling the orb fire slope scoper of course for 3.5 with unusual overpay which is fair enough. User hasn't got any offers yet however with only 114 views, he's already got 2 bookmarks. I personally don't agree with the price being over 3 buds which is why i put around 2.9 in as the new suggested price.

3. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9268730

The one with the buyer selling the scoper for 3 buds + 2 bills. The suggester put Offers on the hat: None when he did have offers such as a

- Lvl 1, TS-painted Steaming Front Runner (2.3 buds according to bp.tf) The user got offers of over 2.8 buds on his actual trade. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9346470

- 3 buds and 1 bills (which is wayyy over 3 buds)

4. Here's another trade proving wrong as to why the new price suggestion is just wrong

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10591023

The user was selling for 2.8 pure and he got an add for it, so obviously he managed to sell the hat so I have no idea why it was in the suggestion to start with

5. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10457517

The user, in less than a WEEK, managed to sell the nice unusual for 3 pure, again no idea why this was in the suggestion.

6. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10506637

User selling the hat for 3 buds + 2 bills like someone was previosuly and the only offer he got was Orbiting planets chieftain challenge+4 keys which is a bit of a lowball but nonetheless an offer as it is. The trade also has 1 bookmark on it which signifies a potential buyer for the hat.

7. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10314277

Yes, my own trade. The suggester noted that there was 'No valid offer when there are 10 valid ones right there in front of him even though one or two may have been retracted. Last week, i even got an offer of 4 buds on it but it was unfortunately retracted as the buyer found another hat that he really wanted for a good price. Most of my c/os are in the 2.8 - 4 bud range but the 4 bud offer being an outlier, obviously the lower end would have to be diminished.

Also another reason why the suggestion was absurd was because of the range, i mean seriously 2 - 2.8 buds? 16 keys between the low and high end? That's just ridiculous and only 1 trade went for 2 keys whilst the others were mostly above 2.8. I'm sorry but in this case, majority rules.

Another reason why the price should be fixed right here

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10553567 sold 2 buds+20 keys (guessing since he had no offers and nothing of worth in the bp

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10385023 sold for o.fire cold killer (2.8 with overpay)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10591023<- duped, might matter

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10064147 quicksold in a day for 2 buds

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10199757 sold for vivid grim and probably something else. also has offer of max+10 keys

Those above links were counter proof posted on the suggestion itself but i guess no one took notice of them. Again majority of those trades, the items were sold for around 2.8 - 3 buds in price or at least the offers reached that sum.

I believe that the decision was taken far too lightly on this and the proof was faulty. Not to mention not only was the acceptance of the suggestion rushed but also people just didn't take time at looking at the counter-proof and didn't make the effort to actually click on the links to see what was going on.

Here's a trade i found myself -

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10649161

User selling the hat for bp.tf prices which is fair enough.

He got an offer of orbiting fire el jefe which is around 60 keys. If you look at my trades you will see i previously had one myself and managed to sell it for 60 keys.

I couldn't find any as currently, there's only 10 on market and most of them I've already analysed. Anyway, hope this suggestion helps show that the other suggestion was just plain absurd and the price wasn't taken seriously.

Thanks for your time.

    1. Bookmarks are not proof, neither are buyouts.

    2. Bookmarks are not proof, neither are buyouts.

    3. Offer for 3 buds 1 bill is from one month ago, when hat was valued at 2.8–3.3 buds and buds cost a lot more keys.

    4. No proof of add, infact, the buyer of that hat is selling for backpack.tf value. Likely got it on a quicksell.

    5. User still has hat, check his backpack, and look at the history on the hat. He removed the listing, kept the hat. It did not sell.

    6. Bookmarks aren't proof neither is buyout.

    7. Your trade. It also has not sold, retracted offers do not count as proof.

Also, don't forget to factor unusual overpay.

This hat definitely deserved the drop in price.

      4. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10637470 - bought a p.e. s'n's with it.

Outdated value of 2.5-3 buds, with minimal unusual overpay, that's equal to 2.25-2.7 buds pure(assuming no drop in price with time). Within current range, for those that didn't want to look it up.

          Yep, exactly.^^

" http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10553567 sold 2 buds+20 keys": no proof that he actually sold for his B/O

" http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10385023 sold for o.fire cold killer (2.8 with overpay)": he added sweets to his slope to get the cold killer, so the slope is worth less than 2.8 buds, which is out of your range (proof here: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10549770 )

      Buah, too much to read...

      Well, alright, upvote...

So basically if it seems to be long to read, it already good proof? What Molotov said was right, it needed the drop in price, and we need less like you Shot who are too lazy too read if the proof is appropriate or not.

Yeap, and I have good mood today, why not to upvote?

But I think that comunity need more guys like me, who dont wont keys to raise to 6 refs, and was doing something to stop it.

        and there is this: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10560164

Quickselling for 2buds, 5 days, no taker.

A guy was going to pay 2buds but retracted.

Interesting part of that trade also.

"If nothing else works out, I could probably do 1.5... but I am not desperate yet. "

Downvote because of other evidence, including a 2bud quicksell that is going anything but quickly.

Common sense also dictates that this will drop, it's only wanted because its fairly new, and more being uncrated will naturally decrease it's value. So don't be surprised.

Why the huge increase in price?

As comments have pointed out, suggested price is a bit too high.
