earlier in the week i went looking for this paint for my wilson's weave (looks great in labcoat, btw) and found that 3.33 was impossible. it's a really old price and last suggestion was 4 weeks ago

thanks and yeah, for sure it's not a popular paint like black/white/TS but the value is clearly more than 3.33-4

oops, i almost forgot. i did get my waterlogged paint from the warehouse (so for 3.33) but i had to wait a while until someone dumped it in there.

This is a bold price increase - I don't know if I feel 5 refined as the high end has enough solid proof to back it up. Perhaps a more conservative bump of 4-4.66 would be better?

well, if you look at the last successful suggestion, it was 2 months ago when the key prices were around 4 refined - look at that suggestion and you'll see the paint was sometimes selling for a key back then too.

this paint has simply not been given any attention in the meantime, hence the big bump

I would say 4-4.66 ref is a better range for this.

I think 4.66 ref is a tough sell and 5 ref is a really tough sell.

i did consider 4.66 but all those big paint sellers seem to be able to sell at 5 or a key - slowly, yes, but definitely able to. and gotta keep in mind, it's not a common paint at all.

i admit, it's a somewhat shitty range, but i really didn't know what to do given the big bump that's clearly needed.

i addition, this isn't exactly a common paint. i have literally gone through every selling trade on outpost. that's it. that's all of them.

that's it. one page of sellers. i looked at each one. examined any active ones in detail. see notes in proof. don't know what else to say.

ok, i know a lot of people are downvoting this based on what gigazelle and blind polar bear said, but just take a look at the proof again. this paint is selling for much higher than the bp.tf price for several weeks now. the reason the range is so wide is because there has been no update and so there isn't a real pricing guide so the sales have been all over the place.

maybe a 4-4.66 suggestion is needed to buffer the massive amount of time that has passed since the last successful suggestion but the 1 key/5 ref trades are moving (see my proof), and the reason for the trade slowness also has to do with the relative rarity of this paint. i looked at all the seller's backpacks using bp.tf's history feature and the stocks are definitely changing.
