http://tf2finance.com/ is at the moment at 22.56 keys per bud on an upward rise meaning the majority of trades are taking place at 23 keys, and since you all love whatever proof you can get you hands on.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10571000 multiple adds for 23
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10837186 claims multiple sold for 23, at the moment 23 new keys in inventory
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10833373 added for 23
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10781322 claims multiple sold at 23, appears to be quick buying at 22 and flipping for key profit.
But it's a pain to find open trades that show sales so here are the quick buyers

And i won't exactly call it proof but classifieds http://backpack.tf/classifieds/search/143/6/0
Current cheapest clean bud is 22.8 keys, and they're currently offline meaning even if they were added for that price couldn't have traded yet.
http://trade.tf/price/143/6
They have it moving up also. Not as high as Finance but still.
none care about trade.tf
At least it proves a jump / upward trend.
Ah, but people do. It's an effective parallel to tf2finance, that shows you the links of people that sell for less. Far more efficient, and far more open.
Yeah, unlike finance, we know where trade.tf's proof comes from.
To my understanding, tf2finance and trade.tf operate similarly. The biggest difference is that trade.tf uses noted non-pure trades as part of the evaluation of an item's value while tf2finance strictly uses pure trades for its data.
I may turn out to have misinformed myself somewhere along the line and be purely talking out my ass though. Either way, while I'd personally never trust either blindly, I believe they're both still valuable resources. So long as they aren't used in isolation, there's not something wrong in showing what numbers they've crunched out.
No ur right. Swag explained very well. Each represents a different aspect of trading and because both together is probably the best indicator both should be considered.
The trend I have noticed is that trade.tf is generally lower than finance which is kind of counter intuitive but it also shows that the buds are recovering a little. This may have something to do with keys struggling to go higher than 5 ref (thus stabilizing).
http://trade.tf/price/143/6
I have asked Swag inc to add a feature where when u hover over part of the graph we can see the amount of trades that were sampled for each day. He has that on a back burner for now. Finance should do the same tho.
For now I would keep the current price tho.
1. Looking at the warning on trade.tf
"The way the prices are computed has nothing to do with good deals or trading websites. "
2. There is only 1 Good Deal involving 21 Keys, while the lower estimation is reported as 21.08-22.08
3. It estimates item-item trades, which means someone used 1 Earbuds to buy an item worth 21 Keys, but at the same time it is very possible that nobody traded 1 Earbuds for 21 Keys in pure.
I do not frequent the site, so I do not know about the specifics of how they calculate the item values, but I can respond to your points.
1. TF2finance also has a warning of a similar nature that says it's for a general trend only. I can't find the specific wording, but I assume you know what I refer to.
2. One good deal at 21 means exactly that, 21. The estimate may be based off of the sold that move at 21. I don't know the code, or how they calculate it; I'll see if I can contact the owners and ask.
3. Refer to number 2. I don't know how they do it. But if people are willing to sell their Buds for 21 keys in items, and it's in sufficient quantity to skew the price there, it does act as support (note: not proof, support) for a stable price of 22 keys or maybe even a revert to 21-22.
EDIT: And just to clarify, this lack of proof is what is causing this suggestion to remain open, so that arguments can be heard from both sides.
Im trying to buy for 22 keys for ages !
if anyone sell for 22 add me:P
Upvote, good suggestion but need more proof .. can anyone help him XD
I was gonna make a suggestion too Lol
here's the proof I got (Wasnt finished ofc, but still...)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10840699
2 sold for 22.8

Claimed to have sold 3 for 23, the listed one is sold
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10837186
As I've noted in the key suggestions, finance crashed on the 13th and expects a few days to be producing accurate averages. It shouldn't be used at this time.
i am sorry that i brought the buds as low as 21 :'( glad to see it rise again ! :D
When looking through the proof which is in the comments aswell I should say 22-23 fits good, upvoted!

http://tf2finance.com/
I was expecting them to rise back up again, luckily I stocked up on as many as I could get. But yeah, they dropped and rose last year at this time as well.
Someone tell me why please, because I haven't been able to figure it out.
What do you mean you 'stocked up'? You have just one bud. >_>
That was all I could buy :(
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10826151
1 add for 23 keys, hope this helps!
Upvoted, buds are on ze rise :D
robro crates/keys just came out tho, not sure how that would effect keys and such :S
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10673200

Selling for 22, all 12 sold

Paying 22, bought it.
ALL of these are from the last 24 hours. I'd say that 22 flat is fine, given the mix of sold and unsold at 22.
Two comments, both deleted, and dislikes. I take it people don't want to see counterproof?
Or people who don't like reddit.
Even though it's perfectly valid counterproof
Looks like, based on your own proof, people are stilling to pay more.
All the ones at 22 were sold instantly.
Some unsuccessfully buying at 22
Some buying at over 22 and unsuccessful
Buying at 22.5 and unsuccessful
22 is still in the range, so I think this isn't counterproof, but rather proof for the suggestion.
Yeah. A price increase is due. I've been seeing buyer trades over 22 keys, although I forgot to save the links. :/ I'll see if I can dig them up.
EDIT: Found them
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10827952 Buying buds for 22 keys + 1.77 ref (22.4)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10825021 Buying a bud for 22 keys + 1 ref (22.2)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10812915 Was paying 22 keys + 2 ref for a bud (22.4)
I really hate currency pricevotes with ranges. Makes it unstable.
Eh, but you're right. Earbuds have got to rise.
good suggestion, upvote.
If this gets suggested unusual prices with decimals are going to get so annoying.
upvote, im having such a hard time buying for 22, saw some guys buying for 23 on sv trades.
There are lots of sellers for 22.5 did you notice that? 22.5≠23 right?
OP's proof shows selling for 23 keys is possible. Therefore any sold at 22.5 keys supports the suggestions because it's in the range.
How does 22.5 keys count as 23 keys?
Did you not read the first part of my comment?
OOPS i didn't see that there was a range, lol damn my bad

YES BUDS BE RISIN WHOOOOO
This is fairly little proof for such a commonly traded item.
This thing will go down again once robocrate key is released.
Yesterday i sold 2 for 23keys each and had 2 more adds but i was out of stock. 22-23 is good price, since i bought those 2 buds for 22 keys each , after 7h and secound one after 13h on my trade.
It's a good thing to see these 'Buds recovering again. I thought the trend would continue to be negative, but since the keys have seemingly plateaued, 'Buds look like they'll be going back up to former glory.
Anyway, on topic; as pointed out by someone, there does seem to be a small amount of proof for a very commonly-traded currency. However, the proof itself is suggesting that there is a positive trend in Earbuds value. Let's see how it all goes from here - upvote.
yes
23-24 keys
Sold 10 buds in ~15 minutes or less a day before yesterday and 2 for 22.5 keys yesterday. Buds are going up again.
http://puu.sh/2Vneg.png
I would like to know hot to price things as opposed to knowing cold to price them.
me too, this would be great
Hopefully if the bud price starts to rise, the key price will drop. You never know.
Seeing buyers at 22.5 keys and some not selling at 22 anymore
Just sold a bud for 23 keys pure.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10761053
upvote, just sold a bud for 24 keys
Proof? Such as, a screencap of your trade history?
http://i.imgur.com/YEDnvl0.png
