Many offers of 2.33 on these, some trades are selling them for 2.33

looks good but needs a few more links

I'll try and find some more

        Got some more

Can you show any failed buyers at 2 Ref? That would convince my upvote.

          Counter.

          Link 1: In current range

Link 2: 1 month old, keys were not 5 ref then. In fact, by the item info chart http://backpack.tf/stats/5021/6/0 keys were ~4.15, which makes the adds in the current range, but not in yours

Link 3: 6 months old. Same reason as above.

Link 5: Month old, continually changes price (you said it was 3 ref, now it says 4) not that good as proof. Key offer was 2 weeks ago.

Link 6: They say they sold 11, but they've got no real proof of that. They could easily just be saying it, considering there's a lot more (read: nearly all) posting only to say they think their price is over priced, or only buying because they need it asap (ie, not a good example for most of the market)

Link 7: 2 months old. There have been 3 price changes since then, one that dealth with taking out 2.66.

Link 8: 2 months old, same thing as above

Link 9: Month old. Selling for 2.44, not 2.55.

Link 10: Needs it Asap. There's a reason we don't use quickbuyers as proof.

Link 11: SELLING. 2 weeks. Unsold.

          Link 12: Month old

In short : Your 2.66 proof is several months old, and is invalid considering there have been several price changes in between then and now that took it out of the range. Your Key proof is off, because of how old it is and how fast the value of keys change. You've got some proof for 2.44 maybe, but definitely nothing as high as 2.55 or 2.66

Link 2: Keys were not 4.15 ref one month ago. They were pretty close to the current price.

Link 3: There were many trades recently, other offers that aren't keys.

Link 5: A month ago, the paint was 2.44-2 ref.

Link 6: You could also be saying that he just said that. Not a valid argument.

Link 7: The trade was made 2 months ago. He sold them out more recently.

Link 8: Again, it was made 2 months ago. There are added things up to as recently as 4 days ago.

Link 9: He must have corrected the price, or I made a typo. There are adds up to 2 hours ago. Stop listing only the date the trade was made.

Link 10: How the heck is that a quickbuyer... He's selling it for 2.66

Link 11: I said he was selling, again that was when the trade was made

Link 12: AGAIN, that was the when the trade was made. Take into account when people are posting.

              Your responses:

Link 2: No, they were not. Where are you getting that from? I've linked to proof, and even if you want to go by http://tf2finance.com/keys/ , they're definitely not showing keys at 5 ref one month ago. Finance shows something closer to 4.77 on Apr 17th, but half of that is far closer to 2.33 than 2.55 regardless.

Link 3: The most recent offers are 1 month ago, and the person is selling for cash anyway.

Link 5: I don't know what you're trying to say here, or how it relates to what I said.

Link 6: IT's hard to take what they've said at face value when they've got no other proof of that - surely, if he had truly sold 11, he'd have more comments than just people coming in to say the price was too high. With them having a direct incentive to lie about how many theyve sold and not having too much proof of selling besides that (they have 1, and 1 who needed is asap) i wouldnt try to use this trade as proof.

Link 7: How can you say when he sold out? How do you even know how many he had in the first place?

Link 8: 4 days, they wanted .33 back for a key. Before that 2 weeks, and before that a month or more.

Link 10: The person buying said they needed it as soon as possible. Which means they'd pay more just to get one right at that moment because they needed it now. It's the same logic as the people going to quickbuyers because they need metal right then.

Link 11: Him selling for 1 key means nothing if he hasnt sold it yet - which he hasnt.

Link 12& all : The listing of the date the trade was made matters, because like in Link 12, many of their offers or people listed as saying they added them around that date. In 12, each add seems to have weeks inbetween, and the vast majority of them are weeks old.

So again, you've got some proof for 2.44, but your 2.66 proof is still very weak.

I remember this being quite a pain for 2.66 thus the price decrease

Now people seem to be paying more for them, thus price increase.

yeh but shit like this don't just happen

*Facepalm; Laughs hysterically* That's what happened to keys!

Yes it does, care to check the proof?

I implore you to look at the proof.

Still many for 2 ref and tons for 2.33 unsold. Maybe 2.33 would be a better than a range.

Care to show me the 2 ref sellers and 2.33 unsolds?

2.33 ref took me two weeks to sell, 2.66 seems out of the question, remember too that this is a paint, and cost 1.33 at max once upon a time.

Proof of that trade? Also, guess what keys used to be worth. Prices rise, just because this paint used to be cheaper doesn't mean that it should stay that way. Also, the proof is there for a reason. To look at. 2.66 is not infact out of the question, it's a pretty realistic price considering that there are 20+ 2.66 trades in my proof alone. Please think before you post.

                  1 counter proof :

I love how you blocked out the date you sold that at so you couldn't be accused of using outdated proof. Real nice.

I can block the date and the trade was 10 days ago

Quickbuying. You don't see trades like that often.

2.11 was really easy sell for me but i'm unsure of 2.33 being on the low. Although I did receive a fast learner for 1 can which i quicksold for 4.66 soo....

I'm pretty sure you were able to sell it at 2.11 because it's on the low side of even the old range

exactly. I was tentatively agreeing with a raised range but I'm just not absolutely convinced it should go up by a rec.

Just look at the proof, there are 20+ sold at 2.66. I feel like it's a pretty realistic price range

This was my trade on outpost that went down 'cause of my vacations. TONS bought for 2 ref and solds for 2.33.

And also, the counter proof is simply: OLD TRADES.

if you buy at 2 and sell at 2.33 it supports the current rather than this new price.

And that is what I'm trying to do -.-

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11046366 - sold mine for 2.66, 3 people added me in less than a day. Upvote.
