I'd really really like to bump it all the way down to 10-10.4, but I can smell a mod coming and telling me that all 6 links are quickselling.
I really hate that glitch that made my 10-11 10 flat.
Note that I have bought 1 at 10 keys and 2 at 9 keys 2 ref. as of before.
It looks to me that the public wants more unsolds at 11. That can be done.

8 sellers at 10 keys means 10 keys is not a quicksell.
Your 10 key flat trades are very young. It can indicate a quicksell. Neutral for now
Change your first 10 flat to bought. I just bought it. :D
"8 sellers at 10 keys means 10 keys is not a quicksell"
Got any more of these "non-quicksell" 10 key trades still open?
I do not need to show US 10 keys. I am extending the range.
You are extending the range with 8 trades out of 16 pages on outpost.
And all of them are very young and sold.
All your 10 flat sellers have not been opened for over a day, and the second one has been added, other than that, none are selling for 10
Thanks for the links. Got my new launcher for 10 keys from one of your links. :P
It seems most if not all of these 10 key sellers stem from the result of the recent backpack.tf change. Most likely trying to liquidate their assets before they drop in value again. Last price suggestion was accepted less than a day ago. I believe it'd be better to wait a while rather than take a stick beat the price of the strange festive grenade launcher. We've already seen the effects of doing this with the Genuine Merc's Pride Scarf. http://backpack.tf/stats/541/1/0
because 8 sellers at 10 keys
5 other sellers at 10.6 or under
2 week unsolds
is not enough proof?
tsk tsk
Time and quantity are both factors. While you may have cherry-picked enough quantity, it does not appear to me that time is on your side on this suggestion. These prices unfortunately are meant to represent a market in-motion, but are based on screenshot instances. You have to look at how these trades go overtime to see when it is appropriate to bring 10 keys into the range. Right now this seems like you rushed into it like Long making a key suggestion after one has already been accepted.
the other one was way to shallow of a bump.
There were 10 key sellers then as well.
Allow me to illustrate for you what you appear to not be able to comprehend. These items sell in a time-vector as well. You cannot use a screenshot of market to fully illustrate prices unless you factor in this time vector. Using the average trade prices graph courtesy of http://trade.tf, you can clearly see the influence backpack.tf price changes have on a market and the consequences that occur when you do not allow a recovery time to view how the market reacts.

current price: 10 keys flat.
Graph shows the price has been under 11 keys since May the first
Love your trolling <3
You're still missing the entire point. You're simply thinking of this as a snapshot of the market when in reality a market is not static. There is a time-vector that you apparently are just to stubborn and arrogant to realize because you couldn't wait a few days to see how the previous suggestion effects the market due most likely to your need to acquire meaningless rep on this site.
You have absolutely no forethought about the repercussions of the suggestion you are making and how it will effect the future let alone the supposed accuracy of it since the majority of your people selling for 10 keys spawn after the previous, yet you claim that's okay because there was supposedly enough sellers at 10 keys beforehand which you have not provided evidence for such a claim.
explain that to like the 9000 other people who do this. You very much well know I do not rep whore. The price is extremely high. As I said before, the last bump was ridiculously conservative. He could have done 10 keys right then and there. Love your trolling Baloo <3
I'm going to have to agree with Baloo here.
Taking another look a the graph, I realized that exactly when bp.tf updated the price, sales took a sharp decline in price. Otherwise, it would have seemed that the price would have continued to recover. Maybe give it another week and see what happens. I see very little reasoning for bumping the price down before even a day has passed since the last one.
It was always under 11 keys. You must be blind.
For the ones who don't me, I'm the creator of trade.tf. I'm mentioning so my message is taken in that context.
I find your annotated graph very interesting Baloo and very insightful too. I never had the time nor the will to see whether backpack.tf does influence the market or not. So it's really interesting to see the annotation you did and the possible interpretation that backpack.tf could influence prices.
Personally, I don't want to comment or state an opinion about whether there's an influence from backpack.tf prices on the market since it's a polarizing topic. And have written my own spreadsheet, any comment I would make could turn into an instant flame-war. Thus my neutrality on the topic.
Concerning the cooling period to avoid the potential influence (and feedback loop), I think it's a smart idea. Another option would be to change prices more frequently but in much smaller increments to dampen the market response.
Love your website, just wanted to say that. I found the explanation of the spreadsheet mathematical model especially interesting.
And for the sake of me not being warned by cleverpun for contributing nothing, I can say that I am also in favor of giving a period of rest after a recently accepted suggestion.
It was waaaaaaaaaaaaay too conservative.
Why does no one see the 8 SELLING AT 10 KEYS?!
I dobut it. I was selling at 10.4 before it was changed to 11 keys flat for a couple days and didn't get any interest whatsoever.
Price change is needed.
Selling this at 10 keys is faster than good painted bills at 8
