Cant seem to get one for two keys. I do have one and have most rare noncrafts. I do think i know the prices on non craft hats very well.

A little proof of what im talking about. i offer 2key but he sold it for 2.5 keys.

The second link offer was offered by the same person who bought the first one. Also, try and add the seller of the Bloke to let him take a screenshot of his history. We can't take his word as genuine if there's nothing to back it up.

You make a good point. However, the one guy passed up the offer of 1key+8ref. And the second guy sold it for that. That two people that own and feel this hat is 2.5ish. Now look at the 5 for sale on outpost...of the five 2 are for sale.

And i will buy at 2keys...still looking.

These are going so high because the people who own them keep demanding higher and higher prices. Any that are posted for less than the current bp.tf is quickly bought by one of the dirty collectors then listed for significantly more because it is only one of a few trades. But the thing wrong with that is, only a few people who have the item are manipulating it. For all we know, every seller that sells this and other "rare" dirty hats could be highballing.

No one is manipulating or conspiring to anything here.

The hat I sold was a duplicate I had bought before the price jump to 2 Keys. I put it up for sale without any B/O. The only offers I got and rejected until I sold it, was a 0.44 and 2 Ref offer, the latter of which may have been a mistake because the very next offer by him, the suggester PinkSaber, was 2 Keys.

Almost immediately after that, without me knowing about the 2 Key offer yet, I got added and offered the 1k+8r. I did not ask to beat the 2 Key offer.

Usually I would not have considered the offer right away, because I was added where I specifically asked not to be and to offer in my trade.

But I was busy and distracted, and agreed to the trade. Sorry to PinkSaber for that. I see that your limit was reached anyway, so no harm done, right?

I only knew the current bptf price, how it came to be, and thought 2.5 is a take it and run offer. Because once one of two/few competing buyers has his demand satisfied, it may very well be the next buyer(s) are not willing to pay as much for quite some time.

You can see that with the rarity of the item on the market, just 2 competing buyers are enough to keep the price up.

If I had the intention to make as much profit as possible, I would've paid more attention and noticed I could squeeze out at least that roule the buyer offered in the other trade as well.

Had the highest offer withing about a week only been 1 Key, I would've sold my hat for 1 Key, but probably not for less as I would've preferred the hat over Metal.

If us dirty collectors would buy any up for sale for less than 2 Keys with intention to sell for more, there would be more on the market.

So either these collectors have no intention to make a profit and keep the hat, because, you know, they are collectors, or there are not that many to quickly buy for less in the first place.

I would love to see some recent evidence of those quickly bought Bloke's Bucket Hats for less than current bptf price ... there is none!

Event if there was, if they are re-sold for more within reasonable time, that only shows the true value of the hat and you'd have to consider the low price sale an uninformed mistake.

this may be true. but if i were to own every... say durty football helm and put a price of a bud and not take any less...well thats the price. Price manipulation is possable in a free market. its real and does happen. diamonds? But it does not mean you can just say its worth less then what you can buy it for....unless you have one you are selling for less.

The true number is actually at least 685.

Neither the Little Buddy, K-9, Sniper Shako, L'Inspecteur, Ol' Geezer or Salty Dog, all similarly rare in numbers and availability, have a price anywhere near 2 Keys.

So this hat is special for one reason or another.

I also notice that as I am still waiting for offers on my K-9 and Sniper Shako.

K-9 and Sniper Shako came out right before the patch and were grabed up by the colletors...i have 3 or 4. the blokes was long ago and many are "lost" so much harder to find.

One sold for 2 keys + 2 ref in the last suggestion, this is good enough.
