With the lowest offer (of 4) being about 1.8 buds, However all of the others were 3 buds plus, getting to 4 buds.

You didn't factor in unusual overpay, Cauldron Head Warmer, middle value of 2.9*(90%) = 2.6 + S.F. Bat = 3.6. So a high end of 3.6 would be better.
