So why 1.44 as high end?

With my proof, I was mainly trying to show that this hat is unsellable at 1.66. Considering that there was at least one offer to buy at 1.44, I feel that it should be included. If more evidence that this is unsellable at 1.44 comes in, yes, it would be fair to keep at 1.33 flat.

I tried doing this, it didn't pass because no proof of 1.44 at all.

Also, have you checked the item histories of the unsolds? You never know if some of them are sold already.

One of them actually was sold, but I talked to the seller and he said it was sold for 1.33
