Aaand here we go. This baby here deserves a bump. Great hat with fitting effect, gets very good offers (I know, I sold it once). Proof:
My trade: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10923912 Offers:
- 52 keys pure (2.3 pure)
- 54 keys pure (2.4 pure)
- Smoking Honcho's (1.5) + Smoking Hottie Hoodie (1.5) + SF Axtinguisher = 3.3
- Smoking Tyrants + 12 keys in mixed (Starm guy)
Old trade offers (last time I had this and sold it):
- Sunbeams Sultan (2.5)
- Stormy Tossle (2.6)
- Searing Plasma AA (2.1) + Blizz Bucaaner (1.3) - 2 keys = 3.3 (Sold for this) http://i.imgur.com/zzBLCWT.png
2nd trade: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9543581 Offers:
- Steaming Tyrants (1.7) + 1 bud = 2.7
- Stormy Bicorne (2.3) + sweets = probably 2.5 or so
3rd trade http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10404176 Offers:
- 2.5 bud pure
- Holiday Headcase (2.9 buds). This actually sold for a Stormy Tyrants: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11056144 as written here.
- Other unusual offers around 2~2.3
There are more in the market, but they had usually the same offers. There is a high demand for those. I didn't include lowballs (bunch of unusuals, rejected without response) or very old offers. The previous price was fine (2.5 - 2.8). No idea why it dropped.
Reason for the ends: Low end over the current one, and over the best pure offers I found. If there are offers of 54 pure, 2.2 shouldn't be the low end. So I'm setting it near the steaming tyrants and stormy bicorne offers, and the sultan and tossle offers I had on my old trade. Note: none of these got accepted by the owners. High end: Holiday Headcase, the Smoking hats offers I had and the payment I got in my first sale.
As usual, suggestions and proof appreciated. Unusual overpay was considered for the prices.
I'll toss in a plus for this. Last suggestion passed ONLY WITH B/O's AS PROOF. SERIOUSLY. WHAT. THE. HELL. "Oh but there was a 2.5 b/o". Yes, in pure buds or cash. And what about the random range? Oh look, there's an untaken 2.5 b/o, I'll put the low end below it and the high end above it, so simple.
The range he put was 2.4-2.9, since the 2.5 didn't sell, he put the low at 2.4, and since the 3 didn't sell, he put the high at 2.9. And when your lowering the price, b/o's are perfectly fine. Since it shows people willing to sell at lower than the current range or not even being taken at lower than the current price. Anyways, nice proof :) upvoted
Yeah, I figured that was pretty much that since the buds were lower back then, but b/o's are usually in pure, and it happened for me to get offers above my b/o. And sometimes a 2 bud unusual offer has a 3 bud unusual offer in it, and so on. I just think offers make the prices. But thanks for the clearance
It's because, since the prices here are in pure, if an unusual has a b/o of 2 pure, and someone offers a 3 bud unusual on it, it usually means the 3 bud unusual isn't actually worth 3 buds, as most players would just sell it and can buy the 2 bud unusual, and have some left over. And since the prices are only in pure, if you can buy an unusual instantly for 2 pure, it seems kinda unreasonable to put the price any higher. And no probs :) keep up the great work :P
