Either make it 17-18 or leave it at 18. This is useless. Not that you've got ebogh proof of 17 (or 17.5) but really, .5 key on such a high price? Yeah I made sone some .5/.6 suggestions myself, but on stuff above 5 keys this is as useless and annoying as Cleverpun's key range.
Unsolds don't mean much. A trade may not get bumped enough, the user may be unavailable for trade for long periods of time, prices may change on the trade at some point in its existence. Too many variables that we can't track.
Simlarly, offers on items like this don't tend to mean much. Users serious about trading will look to the trades with firm prices listed, meaning pure offers given are guaranteed to be awful.
Ultimately, this suggestion can be narrowed down to two relevant links
http://backpack.tf/classifieds/search/strange%20machina - 2 sellers at 17.6-17.7 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11043915 - sold for 17 keys
I do not think that is enough for a price change.
Yes, but does it still apply when there are offers that the trade owner has hidden? In most of the unsolds I posted it's usually a case of the seller trying to sell for 18 keys, and then hiding people's offers under that price, not cases of the seller forgetting to bump/being offline.

Most of your proof is invalid, like Vincent said, the proof only boils down to 2 links that are valid, which is not enough to cause a price change. Sorry, but I'm going to have to down vote.
I see that some of the 18 key sales have been made already, specifically the first link and the second to last link. This is an unnecessary price drop. Selling this item will never be super fast unless you're trying to quicksell it under the market value, since it's so expensive, but if trades do occur at 18 keys, which is the market price right now, then there's no need to lower the value any more.
your link 2 sold for 18 keys.
plus don't see much sales at 17.5 keys.
