I feel like the hype died down very quickly and that a base price of 1.33-1.66 would be appropriate for this situation.

I and another made a suggestion for this, however both were rejected due to the proof being odd.

I know painted items are bad proof but I think this supports your range in this case (it's a craft hat, after all and can't go lower than 1.33 ref).

It's valid. It's painted and he sold it at 1.33. Paint can be supported if it's nice and since craft hats can't go lower than 1.33 it checks out nicely c:
