finally, one appeared on outpost!
-overpay used
-discounting "sweets" from offers unless specified
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10397624
-planets wratih wrap (1.8 buds)
-eerie safe n sound (1.5 buds)
-2 buds
-39 keys (about 1.6 buds)
-stormy beanie (1.2 buds), steaming demoman's fro (0.6 buds) = 1.8
every other offer listed is below 1.6 buds, like:
-searing ze goggles (1.4, od price)
-planets gentleman's ushanka (1.4)
-4 offers from same person, all amounting to 1.3 buds
last sale was 6 months ago, and got a cloudy moon pyromancer's mask
(what the flippin hell)
...so, basing my range off of offers again. sorry.
low: 1.6, lowest, most recent pure offer
high: 2, highest pure and highest overall
interesting, but i dont think you should be able to lower a price because of the offers. if i went on that trade and offered 1 key would that make it worth 1 key?
yet it's not getting 2.2 buds.
there are no other sales, and the other hats must have fallen into the aether, because they cannot be tracked (at least in my own power)
the offers are really the only thing i have to work with here. i understand your statement (which is getting quite old tbh).
just try and find more evidence, its just not there.
yea i understand what i said is over used but its over used for a reason because its true, i understand theres nothing else out there to base the price off of but really that only means you shouldnt be making this suggestion until this hat sells(even if the price is extremely old, its extremely old for a reason because none have sold). id like to bring up an example: i had an orb fire bakers boy which at the time was worth 1.2-1.5, i had it up for sale for 2 months with constantly getting offers of 1 bud pure or unusuals worth less than a bud, but finally after 2 months on the market an actual serious buyer came along and bought it for 1.7 buds pure, o.2 more than the max value of the hat. i think in the case of the knife storm glove, we need to wait for a sale before re-deciding the price. and dont get me wrong you have a good suggestion well put together but i just dont think its valid.
