I'm not going to bother with the 3 key sellers as I'm not claiming that's a realistic selling point.

ALL 2.2 key and under paint is instantly bought (by myself included) and I have clearly shown that 2.6 ref happens on a more than daily basis. Feel free to add counter proof or proof. I'd really like to see whether the 3 key sellers actually get trades personally.

The current accepted price is 2.2 keys. I can put up a bunch of buys (pretty much one to match every sale I have) just for myself. Last I checked proving the current price wasn't required.

By the time I woke up, 3 hours after you posted, ALL of those were sold out so how are those not considered quicksells. Also 2.2 keys is in my range duh

Can't call everything a quicksell. The point is that sellers are still willing to sell for 2-2.2.

And 2.2 is in my range. But you are arguing that black selling at 2 keys instantly(minutes at most) is not a quicksell is laughable.

I've personally sold more paint at 2 keys 3 ref than you can even show for sale at 2 keys. And this is in the last few days.

Also, the only black paint listed at 2.2 in the classifieds recently was actually 2 keys and 2ref and I reported him for it (I tried to buy).

This item is only going up briefly while players want to paint the new robo hats. Demand will go down within 2 days. Think about it. It is sold in the store for 2 keys. The only reason it trades just above that is because some players can't get steam money. If the trade price goes up then traders will flood the market trying to turn stronger profit.

There are already plenty of people attempting to get 3 keys but that's not in the range and not really reasonable from what i've seen.

Please feel free to post real counter-proof though.

Swag Inc pointed this out in a price increase for Tinge. Some paints are experiencing an increase and a quick drop. Again, think about it. Buy paint from store and mint a key (3 key sale implication). Every trader would do that in heart beat. The price would come right back down.

You can point to Trade.tf but considering I refresh the Distinctive LACK OF HUE 20+ (edit: actually closer to 100+) times per day and when needed a repeated OP search and I still have trouble getting any of the few that go for 2 keys.

If people find a way to buy black from Mann Co. and then sell for keys and then that's what they'll do and that will effect the market price. However, currently Black paint is moderately easy to sell at 2.6 and decently hard to buy at 2.2.

Also swag should really work on his system. The only trades recorded properly seem to be bp classifieds for black paint. I get recorded as selling for like 1 key since i like to put 2 paints and 2 keys in OP windows but my notes clarify the real price. Also I show as buying 1 paint at 8 keys according to trade.tf.

That is not how they r recorded. That just a potential "good deals" section. Which is really kool btw. His system records transactions, not offers.

I'd like to see HOW many black paint transactions he actually records.

Yet, we all know selling =/= sold, we maybe can say some of them sold for they price. But where did 2.6 high end come from ? From 1 people, 2 people ? This is not unusual trading, this item is commonly traded and have a market, altought it does have just 3 pages of sellers on outpost you will need to get more proof to raise the high end directly to 2.6, you can try to do it for 2.4, showing that this item needs to go up. For now I'm downvoting.

I show 8 trades to Different people at 2.6 or more if you count robokeys at 1.2. 2.4 trades are rare and I show at least 2 sold within 24 hours of posting.

Go through and look for paint under what I've just quoted you. I'm leaving 2.2 in as a courtesy even though it is realistically a quicksell just as fast as 2 flat nowadays.

Puddington Selling for 2.6 keys. Seems to have sold at least 1 in 24 hours and at one point claimed to have 20 in stock (now seems to have 8 now).

I did manage to pick off a 2 key paint earlier in the day but I think that was mainly because the poster was offline when he posted (otherwise the other re-sellers are getting lazy).

Why hasn't this or the white paint price been accepted yet. Both have proof of SALES and almost no counters.

This is telling because I was getting him to do rapid trades with me for 2.2 but he's found it better to just seek the full 2.6. If necessary I can show all the paint he's sold me.

I recently sold mine for 2.2keys. I got added in the first 10minutes.

If anything, the fact that you avidly sell and own alot should speak for itself. Some people do try to make the price higher but in your case youve shown proof :D

I've shown proof I can sell easily at higher than BP price long before I made the suggestion. I was selling at 2.3 before 2.6 and it just sold too fast to buy back at any lower price.

the key is to actually be interested in buying and selling the item you're talking about.

That's the problem with leaving things up for 2-3 days. When I made this my 2 keys 3 ref sales were much closer to 2.6 than 2.5. I was basing the 0.6 on the FORUM posted valuation of 0.2 keys per ref not the constantly in flux key price

Well considering keys have been bought above 5 refined for around a month now (http://backpack.tf/vote/id/5187e6eeba2536a948000001), that excuse isn't a very good one, I think you should close this and open 2.2-2.4 you can easily prove that and in the future
