Very little demand.

My own trade http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11205202 - Sold for 0.66 after about 8hrs

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10074685 - 0.88. 1 month old. Offer of 0.66, he said he'd do 0.77 at lowest.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11225086 - Offer of 1 ref (same guy offering 1 ref in every trade, so I'll only use that as proof for this one trade.)

This is all the proof there is, but it's clear that this item isn't fetching anything over a ref.

    Looks good, upvote

First link: You sold an uncraftable in only 8 hours. They usually take at least 3 days to sell, since they're collector items now. I'd call that a quicksell.

Second link: Inactive trade, seems to have been for a while.

      Third link: Yup.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11018648 Another one which sold for 1 ref, check the item history.

http://backpack.tf/classifieds/search/787/600/0 One for 1.33 in the classefieds, which is no longer in his backpack

Downvoting for now, 1 ref flat would be better if anything.

Not all uncraftable's have suddenly become collectors items. The vast majority of them are still going for less than their craftable counterparts - and people will buy them because they cost less and/or they don't care about craftibility.

Where were you pulling 3 days from anyway? Usually items that take a long time are those with larger than normal values, like strange festives and unusuals.

3 days is just the average of what I've noticed. Genuines are 3 days as well, and vintages are 6 days. I might be wrong, but thats just my approximate guess. That still doesn't disprove the fact that it sold super quick. 8 hours is quick even for normal items.

I wouldn't call them becoming collector's items 'sudden' because its been 6 months since they became "rare". There are barely any on the market, and there will usually be less. The majority of uncraftable buyers I can find are either re-sellers or quickbuyers. These are a few signs of it being a collector's item.

            rare=/=collector item

I never said rare = a collector item. Read the rest of what I said -.-

I'm with eventhorizon on this. Where are you getting these figures from? I initially tried listing it for 1 ref, 1 scrap but had no luck for about 2 days. So I got impatient and just listed it for 0.66 (just over half the value of the current price). Even then it took 8 hours of regular bumps to be sold.

As for that trade, yeah the user is clearly inactive, but due to him having donator status it has been bumped every hour for the last month. During this time there has only been one person who has indicated that they are willing to buy it for 0.88 (under current price). There may have been other adds, but obviously I cannot find out if that is the case. I still think this trade is solid proof.

1 ref is in my range, I don't see a problem with that.

I also saw the classifieds one, but looking at the item history, it ends at his bp, which indicates that it was either moved to a private bp or deleted (?). This cannot be used as proof as there is no clear indication that it was sold for its listed price, or even sold at all.

My figures, as I said to eventhorizon, are just an approximate time it takes for them to sell, based on what I've seen.

Also, you just revealed that you got impatient selling at that price, which is pretty much the definition of a quicksell. Selling something because you need metal quick and don't have the time to wait. We don't count quicksells on here.

Many people see that a trade is inactive, and will stay away from it for that reason alone. It therefore cannot count as being unsold.

And yes, I know the classefieds one can't be counted for sure, but someone could add him and ask about it, and then we can know for sure.

I was selling at the lower end of the current price, and got no buyers, so I adjusted the price. I wouldn't call that a quicksell. I'd call that lowering the price so that people would actually be interested. Just because it's below the current price it doesn't mean it's a quicksell.

You got no buyers because you weren't patient. and 1.11 isn't the lower end of the price, its near the middle. Actually read what I said this time.

If you think 1 ref flat would be better, make a suggestion next time.
