I was quickselling max for 12 and some other stuff, too. Now I have as many buds as I wanted and will certainly not try selling max for 12 again.

Probably same thing is with that 11.5 guy.

There is a reason we want ONLY buds, you know. Cash-outing, taking great quicksale offers and etc. Sometimes you just have no time nor desire to wait few days until you sell your hat.

Quickselling those things hardly ever work. Still, you shouldn't treat this as a normal item, more like an unusual (trade has to be open for like 1-2 weeks). Otherwise we have to wait some days and see what happens. In this case, nothing happened, so you are lucky. :P
