In regards to the suggestion, you need proof from Outpost, Trading Post, Bazaar, and perhaps bp.tf classifieds. Collect a large amount of evidence that supports your price suggestion, and then explain your reasoning as to why you value the hat at your stated price. We'd love to take your word for the pricing of a hat, but knowing that some people (and I'm not saying you're one of these people) will only change prices to make their own gains, we can't trust everyone or anyone, unfortunately. :(
