Now I know that this range is pretty wide, but I've seen this hat get some high bud offers and the owners still not take them. Yes, I am an owner, but that does not influence my thoughts on the hat. I sold my O. Fire Crone's Dome for a burning Spartan helm + 10 ref lastnight, and I believe the trade was very even.

Proof : - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10268435 - offers of 8 pure and many unusual offers higher than or equal to 8 and not even a response to the guy who offered 8 pure. Offer of stormy storm crones, also with no comment.

Most people are selling for a minimum of 10 pure while others are holding out for more. Until someone actually sells one for 10 pure, I believe that this new price suggestion is very fair for both buyers and owners of the hat.

P.S. I took the minimum pricing from the old max price of the burning Spartan.

I totally forgot about unusual overpay. More reason to accept this fair pricing.

I meant overpay on the other unusuals, not the Spartan. In other words, it doesn't help your current price.

I suppose you'd have to go through and PC every single one of the moon/harvest/secret unusuals listed and what they actually sell for and the offers they get themselves. + I said around there, up for interpretation though.

It's not really my job to go price every unusual offered, I'm only here to update this price. If you want to do so, go ahead, but I wont cover all 100 unusuals offered on the 5 burning Spartans on outpost.

Other way around. You consider unusual overpay on the other hats, not the Spartan.

And it IS your job. You opened the suggestion, you do all the research.

Just posted some. And I understand. When people offer they often don't overpay in unusuals, most sellers have to ask for overpay because it isn't always a common practice. Most people just 1:1 hats of the same value and leave it at that. So you have to look at both the sellers and buyers side who have to overpay in unusuals. I don't think I overpaid for it, I think I actually got more out of this trade than the other guy did, but it's up to the community to choose here.

I also owe you an apologie for being rude, I kinda confused myself and I'm sure others by what I said. I was attempting to get prices for the unusuals offered but my mind, being on some strong meds, confused my thoughts and what I was actually trying to say. if you think I need to adjust the max price to 8.5 or so, that would probably be fair since most of those unusuals don't quite hit the 9 + mark.

1. Please provide a screenshot of the trade history with the spartan you bought

2. If there are really Unusuals worth ~ 9 buds, please show us where you see them

3. Unusual overpay means, that you have to value Unusuals lower as the same in pure buds/ keys

4. When looking for Unusual offers, we have to take their price on backpack.tf (not look the price of them up as well, because then we wouldn't be able to price a single Unusual) and consider overpay

5. It is your job to list all offers and tell us for how much the site values them and then make a price range based on that

I paid a o fore crones worth 9.1 on here, sells for more though. Stormy crone's valued at 6.8 here but sells for 8 + and many have offers of 8 as well (all have been rejected for the Spartans), moon pot + 1, the pot has been sold for 7 + 1 is 8 (in unusuals though) , Purple energy noble sells for 5 + 9 painted bills + sweets (around 8 + depending on the seller and if he'd even take 5) these are just to name a few. There was also an offer which one guy received (as well as I did) of a secret lid but the guy offered my the lid + 1.5, and neither of us took it. the lid is worth (according to this site, 7.6 but people sell/ask for more).

I took pricing from this site and set them according to the unusuals offered in the links I first provided. You can find the links provided in my first post to the offers those two had gotten.

If you factor in overpay for your crone's dome and the fact that he paid you almost 2 keys extra, I just don't see 9 buds.

I had to do the same suggestion because price is extremely low.
