Previously i thought the 7 bud offer was kind of an outlier, but now there is proof of sales at 7 and other offers of 7. In combo with the 6.5 pure offers I think 6.5-7 buds is the correct range. It does not seem like less than 6.5 will be able to purchase the hat.

Yup yup. Agree with everything you said. From that time stamp, we see 4 buds + vintage luger + some ref. I think he bought a smoking scopers for 2 buds the same day which would put it as 6.4-6.5? Anyways, just giving some more links.
