Yeah no shit, they disappear after you log into TF2 again. So he either stored it in an alt account, or used it on an item...
And he didn't sell it to him....check the item history....probably a troll offer.
If the item isn't scanned by the tf2items database it won't show up in the item history. Also, the seller says he has multiple in stock - the one he'd have sold to Moon Moon could well be one that isn't shown in the trade (if that makes any sense - I'm tired). But then again, 5 ref is outragiously high so I wouldn't take it seriously anyway, like you said.

um i will probably downvote cuz no proof at 1 scrap at all (yes offers dont really count, sales do) and there is a possibility that one was sold for 5 ref.

Less than a page of sellers, all are selling for 1 scrap or higher so since it's IMPOSSIBLE to get for less and possible to get for 1 scrap i'd say it's a good price, even though it'll probably be MUCH MUCH higher soon

Hmm well, link below is selling for a scrap, offer of a scrap. This item is really hard to price because 0.11-0.66 seems really big to me.
