Just got this hat and I traded this guy for it: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11788338
He really wanted an unusual peace one man army (17-22 keys / 0.7-0.9 buds) that I had ( he said he'd been chasing one for 2 years) and was willing to overpay, so I accepted this rather snazzy hat.
There are only 2 trades on tf2outpost (the first was mentioned above):

Easily valued offers:
Overclocked Madame Dixie - 1.6-2.4 buds
Peace Charmer's Chapeau - 1.1-1.4 buds
Sunbeams Mongolian + 10 keys - 1.6-1.8 buds + 10 keys OR 2-2.2 buds
2 buds for OMA + 10 keys - 1.6 buds pure
1.6 buds appears to be a pretty solid low end for this (and also happens to be the only pure offer). High end is a bit more difficult, but as 2 buds is the median value of one offer and the low end of another I think that could work best.
The Peace Charmer's is an outlier and was rejected readily, that's why I haven't factored it into my price.
Final price: 1.6-2 buds
Any qualms or queries, let me know.
I think you should also consider solds...
Unfortunately the only successful sale I know of is my own purchase which was highly unusual when looking at the more generous offers that seller received.
You need to consider unusual overpay = Middle price x 0.9.
I didn't consider unusual overpays in this way, however I deliberately used the low or median price of unusuals offered to reflect the issue of unusual overpayment.
All unusuals (or perhaps almost all) are required to be considered with the appropriate unusual overpay method, which is what I stated above. This is to keep a fair consistency between all the prices. If you have an issue with this, talk to an admin.
Side note: I think the method I showed you above is for unusuals with a big range. I think unusuals with a small range require you to do this: Low-end x 0.9
Feel free to correct me if Im wrong
I don't have an issue with this at all, I just didn't know about it.
If an admin rejects the price for this reason then I'll re-apply with the method you describe.
<3 so happy I have my peace sign.
