It's be re-added in the new #59 crate.

Obviously this suggestion should be fine-tuned as the price levels out, but for now, this is a good drop to avoid unfair trades.

This needs a range.

The whole point of this suggestion is to stop trades like the ones you have listed as counter. Buyers weren't aware of the re-release and they paid the current backpack.tf price.

What price is there to refine? This is why I said that a range is better. If you have a range of 1-1.5 keys, buyers will know that it's possible to get for a key and sellers will know that it is still possible to sell at 1.5 keys. I don't consider a ~2.66 ref difference "wide scale sharking."

I'm just quoting Pudding. Also, the price to refine is the current heavies part as it is too high. You can see, sellers are selling for 1 key (many unsold still). Later, when the heavies part price stabilizes we can refine the price more. Just like the backpack expanders.

How is 1.5 keys too high? It isn't a 100% guarantee to get the strange part from unboxing the new crate. There are plenty of strange parts that are priced much higher than 1 key. 1 key flat is not a price to refine because there is no range to refine.

Headshots kills, yes, I know they're 3 keys because they're from an older crate and the part hasn't been re-released like the heavies part.

Also, the backpack expanders is a completely different situation then the one we have here. This is just like all of the re-introduced stranges and hats. The price will drop, but it will drop with proper proof.

In the case of the expanders, there was a huge discount in the mann co store so it was a 100% guarantee that you will receive the item because you paid for it with real money. People would buy it for the cheap price and then re-sell it for much, much higher.

In the case of this strange part, 1.5 keys is still very possible to sell at and 1 key is still possible to buy at. I think a range of 1-1.5 keys works much better with the proof given. I will reiterate this, when you unbox the new crate, it is NOT a guarantee that you will get the strange part.

I never said to refined 1 key now. I said I'm refined the current price because of the item's re-release. Later, when the time to refined the 1 key price comes, we will do so.
