Too many trades at 1.33 for 1.44 to be viable.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11909429 Selling at 1.33.
http://backpack.tf/classifieds/id/76561198082230645 Seller at 1.33.
http://bazaar.tf/trade/268049 Sold at 1.33.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11591907 Trying to sell at 1.44 for over a week, unsuccessful.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11884020 Sold at 1.33.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11923521 1 ref seller (probably outlier)
And last, but not least, this. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11880726
Looks like a sale was going to happen at 1.33, but it never went through. Not really proof, but I just love the guy's responses. http://i.imgur.com/qX9WmyL.png
So there you have it, that's a fair amount of sales of 1.33 for an item with less then 1 page of OP trades at any given moment.
The first 2 links are duplicates.
There is not enough proof that 1.44 ref is impossible because the only link you have is an offer trade (not a firm price that everyone can see).
The 1.33 ref sales all sold pretty quickly.
Still, there are rarely any sellers at 1.44, and the market seems to have focused the price on 1.33, and even lower:

So... I think this doesn't need more proof, actually.
Counterproof
Sold for 1.44 ref

Speaking of first 2 links being duplicates, both of your links are the exact same person. Also, I'd like to see where that hat ended up, OP says it's still in the user's BP.
he probbably knows that theyre dupes and he just used the TP one to show the prices. You cant tell where it ended up if the item is not in a the bp of an outpost user, as outpost only tracks outpost users. It did sell thought, it is no longer in the sellers inventory.
Exactly, Wesley.
I am aware that the links are the exact same person hence the arrow. (-->)

A whilling seller at 1.33
Just throwing it there. Upvote.
I own a few upvote
A lot of sales at 1.33, not enticing proof of a sale at 1.44. Voters seem to agree, so I'll accept it
