it's falling because you guys make a suggestion every couple of days

It isn't just us, people out there are selling it much lesser as the normal price, this is why it needed a drop.

After a suggestion people try to liquidate out of fear of another drop. Leave it be for a bit and let it stabilize again or it will keep experiencing liquidation dropping its price quicker then it normally would.

It's failing because we're making suggestions reflecting how many people are selling for lower than range and unsolds in the range.

You really dont like price drops do you? The prices will change. It's not our fault they do. So chill and let the prices rise and fall.

It seems that you are the greedy one since you actually own one and obviously don't want the price to go down or else it will decrease the value of your bp. This price reflects the market quite well, so let it fall.

There's always the simple persuasion line I like to use, "backpack.tf says its 1.6 keys, so 1.6 keys is the right price, not 1.4."

I've gotten some great deals from nubs using that.

First off, my first comment is was a sarcastic comment.

Secondly, sharking? "Backpack.tf says its worth 2 buds, so its worth 2 buds." I hate people like that, they have no idea of what the market is so they blindly follow whatever backpack.tf tells them. I don't go around looking for good deals, people come to me with them. Quoting Merrycatch, "I've never tried to shark someone, they shark themselves." Furthermore, what I said I'm doing It's not sharking, it's called the art of persuasion.

it keeps falling because of the conversion of decimal of a key, people can think they are selling them at 1.4 keys but guys that make the suggestions do the math and discover that it was 1.3keys, this cycle will still go on until it reaches 1 key flat

Both of the explanations above are nothing but conjecture. The truth of the matter is that the value of this misc in relation to the value of Keys is simply correcting itself naturally. This item has only fallen about 2 refined in 9 months. That isn't much considering it's age. This after being inflated to nearly 10 refined a few months ago. We've seen this happen on many of the higher-end hats/miscs and it's simply making it's way down to the lower tier hats now as well.

They aren't conjectures, when key prices are expressed with a range (almost always) all those decimal keys are subjective calculations like for example 0.5 key can be 2.66-2.78 refs (keys being 5.33-5.55), but if you sell something at 1 key and 2.66 refs people will use it as a suggestion as a 1.4 key because they will start saying that average key Price is 5.44 so bla bla bla. Oh and thanks for the dislike

That is some extremely far-fetched reasoning. You also fail to consider the fact that your theory cuts both ways and can be used to push a suggested value upwards with equal effect. It also doesn't explain why people continue to offer this item at lower prices continually. (There are currently 3 listed below 7 ref in the bp.tf classifieds) Both of those problems can be solved by what I've stated previously. People are simply realizing that this item has been falsely inflated over the past months and, through the magical power of supply/demand, it is being corrected naturally.

well check his 1.5 keys links to see what I mean, he classified 1 key 2.33 refs as 1.5 keys, call it human error or whatever, but it's an error caused by decimal keys. Actually I was referring to the sugestion that caused this to drop from 1.8-2 keys from what's now not this suggestion, this item is already doomed to reach 1 key or even less, if you ask why, then I will answer you with this question "Would you buy a item that it's just being subjected to constant votes to drop it's Price?"

he used mostly quicksales to drop this from 1.8-2 keys to 1.4-1.8keys and got accepted so he will not care about what you have to say about quicksales

Just an observation: filamental is dropping, apparition aspect is droping, mair mask is droping, rusty reaper is droping even this is droping, what the hell is happening to the pyro misc market?

I think the Filamental had more to do with it dropping. It is the premier RoboCrate item, and, along with the Bunsen Brave, the only Robotic hat to be recognized as better than its normal counterpart.

Don't forget the Byte'd beak (iz noic misc too) :p

and yes, the rusty reaper is Ugli, but its more common since people were opening robo bwakses like crazy, and now its cheaper to make a nice set with it, instead of wasting 2 keys on last breath (its not the same, last breath was better from the very beggining of rusty reaper).

a suggestion to drop this it's an easy +rep, since now buyers are not buying this because they are afraid of the constant drops, and sellers now want to get rid of them offering them below backpack.tf price before another guy starts a suggestion, market manipulation at it's pure...

Its dropping cause the robo version is quite similar, lowering demand. Plus the proof is there so quit your butthurting. Upgoat

it's interesting how almost all suggestions lately are exactly in the range reported by trade.tf. trade.tf should have a new slogan: "easy rep for bp.tf suggestions"

btw, i think this price is correct, but that's a very small amount of proof considering there are pages of these trades on outpost.

give it a rest and come back with not quicksold proof. You can argue a lower low end if you like but you would still need some open 1.2-1.3 b/os.
