In The First Link, The Hat was Purchased For 3 Buds Pure. There was Proof provided for the same both by 2nd owner and a comment in the second link that states " Bought for 3 selling for 7.5, Shark"


In the 2nd Link Many Offers of 3 Buds Went Declined.

I Purchased the hat, by offering my blizzard storm team captain if he added 2 buds.

The Team Captain with Blizzard Storm is at the Least 5.5 Buds.


Im Kind of Confused as to where to apply the Overpay, since the offer was mine and he added buds.

but subtracting the 2 pure, i took value for his LED at 3.5, because even if it was my overpay that would only increase the upper range.

      I don't understand. Every time someone buys or offers in unusuals, his offer is always considered as an overpay. What if he isn't overpaying. I just don't get it.

          I think that's too short of an explanation.


          It's because this site prices items in pure value. Unusuals are not pure, so a reduction in price must be made to account for that. Many traders on the low end will ask something ridiculous like 33% overpay, but on the higher end there's no overpay. In the middle, traders tend to prefer pure but accept higher unusual offers, and these "overpaid" unusual offers are usually somewhere around 10% higher than the price of the hat they were offered on. From this, we get 10% overpay = pure price.

            in case of overpay, that means my unusual was considered as overpay? but then this was also partly a response to him offering first., he first offered LED + 1 bud, closed it first , then i went to his trade and said add 2 buds... so hence the confusion of where the overpay is placed. but i think the price is fine , the proof works out
