yea, i have one. Yes, i want to raise my backpack 1 penny in value. [sarcasm]
Sold for 1 key:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11505468 Many adds for a key, and offers of around a key within the past week
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11773830 sold 14 for a key or higher
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11680720 sold several for 1 key
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10223123 claims to have sold many but i think he's just bragging
Unsold for a key:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12046270 Not sold yet, trade has been up for 44 minutes
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12023221 never even bumped
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11896656 asks for key, never bumped
Unsold:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12013124 looking for 4 ref. rejected 3.33
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11649626 umm hes looking for s. festives no offers for reserve
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11994035 Asks for 3.66 he is offline
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11855818 Offered 4 ref in mixed, and is hidden
Rejected at less then a key:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12021310 offered fez + 1 ref (4.33) declined
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11948625 asks for 4 ref, offered 3.33 and 3.66 but not sold
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11406785 3.33 declined
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11908744 3.33 and 3.66 declined
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11847471 3.33 and 3.66 rejected
Sold for 3.33-3.66
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12003421 offers accepted
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12026035 3.66 accepted
So a key is common. 3.33 doesnt happen. 3.66 happens occasionally.
BTW all other links on outpost are in sets, or are looking for games.
AND DON'T FORGET THIS: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11960529
So I made the last suggestion and had a huge conversation with a guy who was countersuggesting for the same range that you are. He buys and sells loads of these 3.66 ref --> 1 key. I was skeptical. So I decided to try it out. Sure enough, sold mine within a day for a key after buying at 3.33 ref.
Really not sure what to do about this item. You can look at his suggestion for proof of solds at 1 key - http://backpack.tf/vote/id/51ba08e34bd7b85468000004
3.66-5.33 is really an odd range, and the community will downvote. I'm just going to say that even though this likely will not pass, I do believe this is an accurate suggestion. Not just more accurate than the current range, but genuinely spot on for what this is easily and most commonly bought and sold for. Too bad people have rather fixed minds about what is an acceptable "range." Cheers, and best of luck with your suggestion
thank you :)
btw, this is the one i sold for a key - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11935205.
And here are a few more:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11701719
http://imgur.com/c1kSNJX
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12050485 - buyer for a key
Sells instantly at even 4 ref:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12032552
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12038582
But 3.66 ref should still be in the range since there are quite a few sellers at that.
Hey there Bear
You were right. I admit it after trying myself. Unfortunately, I still don't think your suggestion would have passed, and I am doubtful that this suggestion will pass.
better late than never... we will see:)
Actually, you are trying to raise your backpack value by $0.34. Getcho facts straight.
In all seriousness, this is too big of a range for such a popular item.
(BTW anyone can just say added without paying the actual price.)
WHAT KIND OF A RANGE IS THAT
A kind of a range.
Odd, but more accurate than the current one.
Dat range....
I agree this is a popular item...but that range has to be lowered or something...
Going to stay neutral...this is really weird and risky
Actually ,Counter proof against your 1 key links.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11505468 Many adds for a key, and offers of around a key within the past week
First guy saying "Added" , no strange reserve shooter on his backpack ( http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/130743 ). Second guy saying "Added" , no strange reserve shooter on his backpack ( http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/336734 ). Third guy saying "Added" , no strange reserve shooter on his bp ( http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/332618 ). Fourth guy saying "Added" , has a strange reserve shooter on his bp , but he got it from another person , check the item history : http://backpack.tf/item/1551840112 (never passed through trade OP's hands). Fifth guy saying "Added" : Same as before , bought from some one else ( http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/169319 ) Click on it , first page. The other two guys offering are in the same way , they have one on their bp but none of them are from the trade's OP. Bad link
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11773830 sold 14 for a key or higher
Completely fake , if we check his backpack now ( http://backpack.tf/id/76561198014767072 ), he has 6 reserve shooters. That trade is 1 week ago , at that time he had 4 reserve shooters ( http://backpack.tf/id/76561198014767072?time=1371538800 ). If we look at his closed trades , i havent seen a trade with reserve shooters in a long time. If we check all the days between the 18th of the week at today , he has always own 5-6 reserves with the same stats. Bad link
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11680720 sold several for 1 key
Actually none sold , since one of the sold had a strange part , which makes it irrelevant. And the other guy saying he wants one , doesnt have one on his bp ( http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/320300 ). The last guy accepting seems to be the only valid one.
He says he sold 10 reserves , only 1 is proven. If we check his bp he has 3 reserve shooters today ( http://backpack.tf/id/76561198029672633 ) , 1 week ago (age of the link's trade) he had 4 reserve shooters ( http://backpack.tf/id/76561198029672633?time=1371452400 ) , I doubt he sold more than 1.Bad link
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10223123 claims to have sold many but i think he's just bragging
You just said it , check his bp history as i did with the last guy and you will see.
Reserve shooters today: 1 ( http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198069547212 )
Reserve shooters 2 months ago (when he opened that trade) : 3 ( http://backpack.tf/id/76561198069547212?time=1366786800 )
If you check his offers you will see how he only gets the hate from a lot of people , and how he answers like an arrogant dumbass (sorry but i had to say it) , i only saw one guy who bought one from him.
Saying my link is a bad link is very rude.

*rude* Please explain how were i supposed to know all those sells without any viable proof in the link provided by the suggestor and how is that supposed to be rude. I haven't use any bad word against you/your trade. What i find rude is your answer.
The trade wouldn't be open if I didn't make any sales. No need to be rude twice. It breaks my itty bitty heart.
http://puu.sh/3nS6b/4775a81cbc.png
It's a shame this range is too broad though and will get closed. I have actually bought over 30 Reserve Shooters at 3-3.66 refined each.
You keep saying im being rude , when what it seems is that you are being a bit pedant about my rudeness when there was no such thing. (Now in this answer i admit i have been rude with the pedant thing , but JUST that...) , but saying i had been rude in the other 2 messages is completely untrue and offensive actually.
I was merely providing counter-proof to your counter-proof. This suggestion area is not a place to fight. I'm going to stop responding unless you have something else to say regarding the proof and price of the suggestion.
the 2nd link actually sold 2 atleast, you can see it by checking the item history. these are their current owners http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/359974 and http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/43477
the 3rd link actually sold 4 atleast, again by checking item history. and again their owners currently are: http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/320300 http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/256041 http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/186307 (he put the SP on it by himself, as shown by item history (listed twice by same user = user changed the weapon)) and http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/364536
as for the last link, there is atleast 1 sale (uber_waffle) but unknown when, only way to know how much he sold and when he sold them is by adding him and ask.
2nd link is mine, I sold way more, but I normally don't distinguish them when I'm selling. It would be really stupid. I crossed out "sold" shotguns just to attract people. And I still believe the range should be 0.6-1 key. Nothing else. Thanks for the analysis of the counterproof...
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11773830 sold 14 for a key or higher
This is my trade. If I will provide with screenshots, will you say that you are wrong maybe? Outpost is not only way to sell the stuff, just to let you know. The counterproof isn't needed here. And there's no reason to use bold.
I sold 2 for a key. Seems a good raise. Ths is afterall a multiclass strange.
I sodl mine for a clean fez + a ref (4ref mix) rather quickly. I think a new price must be made but I do not feel the range should be so great. I remain neutral
not going to lie guys these have been going for around a key for at least a month now.
some proof
from today http://imgur.com/N35bug2
i got it wrong it wasnt quite a month
and on the june 8h http://imgur.com/4lNCJO6
Dat gap, still, upvote
A change may or may not be warranted, but that range isn't.
This range can be refined (no pun intended) later, but it is true that you can sell this for 1 key.
upvote http://backpack.tf/stats/415/11/0
dat range is weird.. Staying neutral..
Selling for way lower then 5.33 ref

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11994035 - 3.66 ref
im gonna downvote because of this.
you may be able to get a key for it, but there are so many unbought at much lower ranges. why pay 1.66 more when there are plenty that sells for lower than that?
1.66 ref gap??? thats just wierd. so i buy one for 3.66 and sell it for a key and earn 1.66ref? Gonna try that.
The range seems a bit strange?
Strange, but accurate.
Just like to say, people buy them cheap for resale. If you are selling an unusual for 1 ref, and someone buys it, is it suddenly worth 1 ref? No. Its worth however many buds it was worth before.
I have to admit that people actually buy this for 1 key. It isn't hard to find a seller for low prices then find a buyer for higher. But, it is an odd range, and I'm going to stay neutral. Although I have a feeling this will pass...
I just closed my other suggestion because this range actually is more accurate.
Please don't downvote based solely on how odd the range is.
Please look at all the proof given, and you will see that it is fairly easy to sell for 1 key, which in this suggestion is rounded down to 5.33 ref.
The problem is I can buy one for 3.66 and sell it for 1 key ...
How is that a problem?
Props to you, bro. Most people I see on this website would have kept that 4-4.66 ref suggestion up because it will be more likely to pass. You actually went with the one that is more accurate. You have my respect (for what little that actually counts for).
the maket is being manipulateedddd......
I agree with the suggested price, but the mods don't like to see massive ranges like this. If this gets closed, I'd say come back and find out what the community is selling for at the greatest amount, and make the high end that, but also keep 3.66.
Problem is that there are actually more sales at a key (people who know the price) OR 3.66 ref (people who follow bp.tf) than anything in the middle.
Yes, this proves quite a problem with this item, I guess everything works in between. I'm not sure myself...
Too high of a range, it'd give traders a reason to purchase even lower and sell even higher. Basically, guaranteed profit of 1.66 ref + if this is going to be accepted. Not necessarily untrue, but weird as hell.
Actually if more people are trying to buy for 3.66 ref, the low-end will naturally go up. The same applies to 1 key. If more people are trying to sell for 1 key, the high-end will start to come down. The market will settle itself out somewhere in-between.
Not if the collective market is turning all of these things over for 1.66 profit guaranteed. Maybe eventually people will start buying for 3.77 for more business. But, I will say it is just as likely for those same people to turn that around for 5.44 instead.
I don't think you understand my point.
Let's say there are
10 sellers for 3.66 ref
5 sellers for 4 ref
5 buyers willing to pay 5 ref
10 buyers willing to pay 1 key
With new information that they can buy to re-sell,
15 people want to buy for 3.66 ref and want to re-sell for 1 key.
Only 10 people can buy for 3.66 ref, the other 5 have to pay 4 ref now.
Only 10 people can sell for 1 key, the other 5 have to settle for 5 ref now.
Do you see my point now?
It's just the laws of supply/demand with an almost purely competitive market.
Gah, I hope I don't get shit for this. Base on the proof on the comments, I'm accepting this.
