They don't it is in the range for now as the high end.

I have seen ONE succesfull trade at 3, so I am putting it up there.

The purpose of backpack.tf is to reflect the price at which items are sold: not to dictate them. In your reply to me in your previous suggestion, you said "I'm trying to stablize it." This is an attempt to actively control prices. I'd advise that you wait a bit until some more actual sales occur, then re-suggest with better evidence.

Oh. I'm in no way trying to dictate anything. This item still has no price on it and many people are confused in what they want to price it as.

I thought I would step up to help and set a price for everyone to look at. Then we can lower it from there. It's gotta start somewhere bro.

3ref high range is absolutely wrong. There are plenty of people trying to sell for 3 ref and failing to do so. I am a newbie to making suggestions and I read somewhere that the high end is where failed buyouts go, and the lowest is where successful trades go.

Whatever you just made is a extreme quicksale price, which can not be used in price suggestions. I feel the range is fine, and will change according to how this item goes.

It's not more quicksale that your extreme case of selling for 3 ref. If you include 3 ref in range, why not my 1 ref? I advise redoing this suggestion, no one from your proof of high range sold one. And no, high range shouldn't be BO. I can put up BO of 3 keys, that doesn't make a price.

Listen. There are far higher prices out there. There are alot selling at 1 keys as well but it would be rediculous to put that in the range.

This range seems about right. Although an argument could be made for 2-2.33 ref, this is just a starting suggestion.

How is that supporting this range at all? There are 7 confirmed trades in range 1-1.66 ref and 1 for 3 ref (from this trade). None of people posted in your comment for 3 ref actually sold anything. Willing buyer for 2.66 bought one probably for 2 ref from this guy -> http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12034487 . When there are 7 trades for 1-1.66 you can't just label them "quicksale" and don't count them at all especially when there are much less trades for other prices.

It's a good range to start at, I can't put it at 1 - 1.66 ref right away, there is not enough to support that.

So 7 trades in 1 - 1.66 don't support anything, but 1 for 3 ref justifies 3ref high range. Got it.

1-1.66 ref all sold instantly. I don't think they should be included in the range, especially since there are no open trades for that price.
