This is my first suggestion, so please give me some constructive criticism instead of ripping me apart. Any help would be appreciated.
I had this item for 2 weeks and got no legitimate offer with a B/O of 4.

(Sold for a beams Dixie and 1 key)
One of the previous owners: Unsold at 3.5 http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11349944
Sold to me for 2.8

Another Previous owner, looking for 3 buds (when it was 1 in the world)

I hope this is enough proof.
Thanks!
Posting B/O isn't really considered proof, but, can be used to narrow down the price range. So, anything over 3 buds is obviously out. Factoring in unusual overpay puts this hat at around 2.6. But, considering you sold it for a beams Dixie, puts it at ~1.8. So, with current information, this hat has a pretty large range of 1.8-2.6. Should probably post a bit more proof to help narrow it down. Also, new effect hype should also be taken into account, so maybe drop the high range down to 2.3?
Well, considering the price of the beams Dixie is outdated as well (the guy had multiple offers of over 2 buds on OP) I would think the middle price should be around 2.5ish, with it maybe going down after the hype. Also, we should take into consideration the fact of overclocked and memory leak being around 2 buds on the Dixie, so this should be a bit higher than those to begin with.
Maybe 2.7-2.3 would be good, with the mid at 2.5?
Beams dixie price is incredibly old, but I don't think it's quite 3 buds (especially not when http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12053822 - you're selling for 2.5 buds...). As such, your suggested high end is too high.
