This hat (1 of 1 right now) was unboxed by Hyaenidae, one of my friends, so I know what he got for the hat. I told him if he wanted to make the suggestion but he's not an active user of backpack.tf, so I'm here to make it for him.
Link of the trade: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12120932 Only one day on the market and he received a pure offer of 3.5 buds (he had a B/O of 4 buds) and two offers of 4 buds on Pink Taco's (one offer if he added some sweets and the other offer was retracted).
Finally, he sold it for a Circling Heart Merryweather (3.1 - 3.6 buds, 3.3 buds in the middle) and 5 pure keys (taking buds as 23 keys, 5/23 keys = 0.2 buds) = 3.5 buds.
need to account for unusual overpay
Not really when there's not a big difference between the low and high end. And someone offered 3.5 buds and an uncraftable black voodoo juju for one 6 days ago http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11981312 so 3.3 buds in the middle is really easy to get for a Circling Heart Merryweather. Taking unusual overpay is only 2.97 buds, I would like to get one for this.
Yeah, i'd probably say 3.5 is fine.
