accidentally wrong currency
Resubmitting my suggestion with a lower range.

In this trade a notable offer was ghosts engie cap+2 buds+7 keys, which is roughly 4.3 buds.
He was also offered a steaming modest pile of scrap, which previously sold for a tf logo modest, which I believe goes for around 4 pure.
There was also an offer of a hearts dapper, which has rejected multiple 4 pure offers.
It has a couple of other hard to pc unusuals being offered like a planets tough stuff muffs.
Sorry about the lack of proof, but its very hard to pc with only one being on the market. The guy I bought it from claimed the last one sold for a smoking noh, which is like 10 buds, so idk."
It was brought up that the previous owner bought it for a circling heart crown, gold essential accesories, and 5 keys. A crown sold for 3 pure here-http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10733892, and if we value the ea at 4 keys that makes the offer 3.33 buds.

Or then you are trying to manipulate the price up so you can sell it for more since you overpaid so much? The current price looks good looking at the offers at the moment.

Anyone who uses backpack.tf for unusual prices is not buying my unusual. I just felt like making it a fair estimate
How do any of these offers reflect 2.5? I think he provides sufficient evidence for his claim.

where? the trade you linked has one offer which supports this. and you got it before his offer. i dont see any rejected offers of 4 at all

allright fair enough, but its still getting offers way above 3, and can get 4, which supports both my high and low range
i myself think that 3-3.5 would be more accurate. but its up to mods to decide
I'm torn here. While I do think this hat might deserve a price increase, your proof is very lacking and unclear. I think that if you took the time to organize this and gather some more facts about previous sales, it could pass. As is though I have to downvote.
It's fairly rare and therefore hard to pc, i will try and find some more proof
