GBH METAL DRILL (7 buds) 6.3 with overpay

Current Listing

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11837632

Who would pay 6.3 buds for this, when you can get the none robo version with the same effect for 1.5 buds. Guy with the Drill Hat got ripped.

who would pay 100 buds for a burning tc when you can get a burning mirror for 3 buds

The Boron Beanie is a crappier looking version of Pyro's Beanie. You can't compare the Mirror and a Team Captain.

Doesn't care if is a beauty or a shit, cause is 1-1 in the market and that guy has paid that price for it. So, for me, is a reasonable price for the hat.

Can't use logic like that here. :c

This is a weird little hat, it has been on quite the journey. I am almost Positive that the reason this hat traded so high, is because A LOT of people think that the effect Haunted Ghosts is a Halloween Effect and that this hat is glitched or something.

      Hat Owner #1 - 4x Weeks ago

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11377087 - Received no offers on his trade but a quick search through the trade history shows that Josthin_™ received a Human Cannonball w/ Cauldron Bubbles from Capitan Coraje for the Boron Beanie w/ Ghosts + 1x Bud + 1x Max. Capitan Coraje’s reasoning for trading such a valuable hat for the beanie “Hallowen Effect - Robo hat ! excelent hat! offer me” http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11399333

      Sale Price: Human Cannonball w/ C. Bubbles (16x buds) - 1x bud - (Max)~2 -- To Captain Coraje = ~13x Buds

      Hat Owner #2

Capitan Coraje continued to claim that Ghosts was a Halloween effect. Proof from his trade below, I’m not sure if he continued to say it on servers.

In response to Ace in Case: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11408668

In response to Burning Desire: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11408668

Sale Price: Metal Slug w/ Green Black Hole – Apparently 1:1 – To Zero Soul = ~5.9x Buds

      Hat Owner #3

Zero Soul was also asked how his hat had a Halloween Effect, he responded “idk, ask gabe” http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11662397

Sale Price: Full Metal Drill Hat w/ Green Black Hole – Apparently 1:1 – To Sweetmask ;D |Canas|= ~6.4x Buds

      Hat Owner #4

Sweetmask ;D |Canas| was once AGAIN asked how this hat had a Halloween Effect on it, he responded “Yeah, its strange i think the same :3” http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11837632

And again, on the same trade, when another person wrote of the craziness of a Halloween Effect at this time of year, Sweetmask ;D |Canas| just hid the post, instead of denying it.

ALSO, a quick search shows us a Boron Beanie w/ Sunbeams, a higher effect than Ghosts. It was available for 3 weeks at 6x Pure http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11367354

and with offers topping out at 4x pure,

the trade owner decided to bump it down to 5x Pure http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11845237 which it has been at for the past week with not a single offer.

I cannot support a price higher than Sunbeams when the evidence shows ignorance as the possible reason for so much overpay. It would look bad on backpack.tf if this hat had a price of 6.3 pure imo.

You can't apply logic for put prices on this, is like "n&b brianic" or "flies anger". Sales = range, not "logic" based in another prices. Apply logic doesn't works here cause a "scorching" or "burning flames" Team Captain must be ~100 buds.

Totally disagree with you, I think, your post isn't very clear. Sniper flies and themed effects is one thing but people thinking a hat is"glitched" and overpaying because of that ignorance does not represent the price
