It was quite the jump from 30-32 keys to 24-30 keys, don't you think?

Last suggestion was accepted from quicksells, which is why the outpost trades got so many adds instantly.

Only 2 on outpost that are currently bumped and monitered, and yes, one is mine.

I had previously agreed that the 1 bud sales in the previous suggestion may have been quicksells, considering one of the buyers immediately began trying to sell it for 28 keys. Yes, I had noticed that. However the trade was made 2 weeks ago and he hasn't been online for 14 days. Its difficult to tell whether or not he got any a bunch of adds.

If the price was 28 keys, wouldnt someone have said "added" to secure this cheap hat?

The orb fire scotch bonnet is listed as 1.1 - 1.4 buds median 1.25 buds = ~ 29 keys * 0,9 = ~26 keys, or if you take the lower end as item overpay its 1.1 * 23 = 25,3 keys, neither is 28 keys.

To me this looks like you invested in an item you can not sell for the profit you though.

Yes, 28 is in the range... I'm just making it more accurate. I can't find a sold one because there is such a minimal amount of them on the market.

First off, I'm the one who bought from Gengar. I bought it when buds were 24-25 keys, so I bought it for 2 keys + 1 bud (In total 26-27 keys) which I thought was a great bargain. That was also when the hat was worth 30-32 keys.

Not really sure where you learned you multiply by .9 to find overpay.

As I said on Jymotions post, the owner has NOT been online since the trade was made, therefore impossible to know if anyone added him. Of course nobody would say added if its only been bumped a few times, and saying added isn't a requirement for knowing if he got an add. Its not valid counterproof for anybody if he hasn't monitered or been online.

I know you are the one who bought it, thats why I wonder why you did not add it as proof. It is the only sold proof I could find for the last 2 weeks and you also seem to be unable to find completed sales. Yes buds had a higher value 2 weeks ago, but 26-27 is < 28.

I see 2 ways here to calculate item overpay, one is simply the low end of the range, while the other is middle price * 0,9 unless its less then the lower value.

Yes is has not been online, yes we can not know if 327 people are waiting for him to accept their invite, but the lack of people accepting the 25 keys suggest that 25 is not a quicksale, which it would be if the price was 28.

Think about it, what would you do if you found a bud on tf2op for 21 keys? Wouldnt you add the person (assuming you have the keys) ?

And if you find out that said person was not online for a while, wouldnt you leave a note of some sort to let that person know you want to buy?

Maybe you personally wouldnt, but several people -including me- would leave a note.

In your bud scenario, atleast for me, if I see he hasnt been online in over a week, I go elsewhere to find a bud.

Hmm true buds are a bad example, there are to much around.

Well imho spreadsheet price is worthless because it is not transparent for me how they set their prices. Afaik its just a cupple of admins that "decide" the price, which ultimately led to its downfall because at least one admin was abusing it.

trade.tf is an automated system that basicly records trades, in some ways like tf2finance.com ( http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/1259-key-price-tf2finance-vs-tradetf/ - difference explained by base64 the creator of tf2f) so it reflects trades that actually happend. That is no solid proof, it could be just friends trading, but -just like tf2f- it shows an overal trend.

so you paid 26 and havent sold it for 28 yet and want to update it?
