Well on backpack.tf all the offers and sales must be valued using backpack.tf. So first you are gonna have to give the front runner a value, and then you can update the spartan's value.

Also, it seemed fair after tracing back the trade history and whatnot. I'm new at this and may just be ignorant.

The roboactive front runner has no sales yet, or been priced, since it sold for that then 4.5 should be the price for the runner after overpay, since that's the nearest sale so I don't it's 6.9 buds for the defiant :/.
