Several sellers are willing to let this new key go way cheaper than the robokey when it just came out. It sells easily for 1 + a few sweets, and goes for up to 1.3, and there are many who are asking for less. Most buyers are doing just 1:1's, but just like sellers at 1.5 they seem to be unsuccesful, even though it's just been 4 hours since their release. Sales at the Community Market have already almost lowered to the amount of keys and robokeys (around 2.20 USD). It seems safe to suggest something for now

Note: bazaar doesn't support summer appetizers or its keys yet, so there's no proof from it atm.

To sum up - Most people aren't willing to pay more than 1 key + up to approx. 2 ref for a key, which shows it's going to decrease rather quickly compared to the robocrate key, as there's not as much hype as there was for the previous crate, since its contents have been released previously.

I think its a little soon for now, let it settle in

I've been finding mine/buying on classifieds on outpost for 1.1-1.4 keys

Also, quickbuyers are NOT proof

Yeah, I wouldn't really count 1:1s or buds for 22 keys as proof

Also, classifieds dont really seem to support the whole 1:1 thing

cheapest are around 1.2-1.3

buds are currently valued at 23 keys, leaving them at 1.05 key each (2.5 scrap, nothing, heh) you've got your point.

what a waste of a crate really, worst crate ever. does it even offer new effects?

Not every crate gives new effects. The event crates tend to just give new hats/misc and maybe a new weapon. Its a pretty good crate, but people think it should be more in it. But remember its only an appetizer, much more to come.

You wouldn't think that if you were an item maker, would you?

Keep in mind that these crates are made to return something to community item creators for their work and contribution. What have you contributed to the community?

It's true that it is still early, but this price is a good one.

There are lots of sellers for 1 key + 1 ref or 1 key + 2 ref.

I think it's bets to have this low price up right away before we get more of those outpost highballers that sell for 2 keys each.

I agree with many users saying it is too early to price this item. We can be sure it will drop as all of these keys do, but it isn't stable enough yet to price.

It's to early to make a price for it, and why you put 1.00 key in the range, if nobody sell them for that price/ you said that 1:1 buyers are only quickbuyers = invalid proof?

well, I was just told those 1 key buyers were actually quickbuyers, they do get their keys eventually, but are not as frequent as sellers in the higher range. Also, the key range includes the calssified listings and community market sales, which are by now in average close to that of keys.

Well it is a brand new key do you expect to have it for a few weeks without selling it?

I don't like how we price this item too early! This key is anyway the same amount as the Normal Key!

We all know that this is the same as a normal key, but it won't ever be treated like that until a couple weeks like the robokeys.

If we can accept this offer now, we don't have to wait those couple weeks to get rid of the highballers on outpost.

And I mean he has legit proof, lots are selling for 1 key + 1 ref or 1 key + 2 ref.

It will maybe get price 1.3-1.5 at the start but it will allways to the end become same value like a normal key, just like the robokey.
