I bought mine for 4 pure + PE Ten Gallon (I was offered 3.5 in unusuals on that and it was suggested as 3.2-3.6 http://backpack.tf/vote/id/5186b9c4ba2536ba3500000a) + 6.5 keys sweets. http://i.imgur.com/yc83WGD.png - The sale.
Adding overpay, that comes to 7.3 buds.
The trade of the person I bought it from also had offers of a PE Front Runner (6.5), and the other Anger owner has a C/O of a Sulph Ballcap + Overclocked Cosa Nostra at http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11516446 - Those don't have any set prices, but given comparative pricing, the ballcap looks to be around 6.5-7 and the Nostra at least 1.
Setting no range until the other one sells.
Counterproof, opinions, etc. are all welcome.
not enough proof imo, you are pretty much the only one who offered an old effect + pure, most other offers are the new effects, there is one tentative 5 pure offer, but other than that not a whole lot that supports 7.3 except your own sale..so you might have just overpaid
The fact that I offered an old effect and pure has no meaning. An offer is an offer, don't try to discredit my proof invalidly. There was an offer of a PE Front Runner, which has been proven to get above 7 buds. That's an old effect and a popular hat.
Let's also look at comparative pricing. Sulphurous is currently sitting above Lantern and below PE. A green energy Anger is over 7 buds. Purple energy is a couple of ticks above GE, and Lantern is around there, so 7.3 is not unrealistic at all. An overpay would extend into the 8 range, in which a PE Anger can be bought.
no, an offer is not an offer, new effects that haven't been priced yet can't be used to prove anything until they have somewhat settled..I don't see any offers that justify your pricing except maybe the PE Front Runner and that's 7 in unusuals, that's good for 6.5 pure..a range from 6.5-7 seems more fitting, 7.3 flat is too much imo

From past experience you seem to be a fan of using backpack.tf prices, there you go. As I said, the database messed up the displayed price. Read that suggestion and it becomes apparent that I've already applied overpay.

Do you even understand why this is an issue? The fluctuation of buds has been proven to not change the trading rate (buds to unusuals) of hats. 2 months is perfectly fine for an engineer hat, even with purple energy. If you want to make a suggestion where they all sell for 2.8 buds, be my guest. I've shown that I was offered 3.5 in unusuals. I get that you don't want me to suggest on something I own, but honestly I want to see an evaluation of my backpack without a huge chunk out of it as well as define prices of the new effects.

You should be smart enough to do research on the GE Ten Gallon before blindly following the backpack.tf price. The only clean one on the market has a rejected offer of 4 pure buds.

Pill: If you are trading a duped hat, the price should be based on a duped hat (not based on that suggestion you are using from 2 months ago).
