I unboxed this hat, and despite it being a 1 of 1 in the world, very few people were interested in the hat. I tried adding this hat on various trades and everyone rejected the offer. One person did offer (of which I accepted) a stormy Tavish DeGroot + 1 bud. Here is proof: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12358140

Although backpack values the Stormy Tavish Degroot being in the 1.5-1.9 price range, for the sake of my trade, I priced the hat around 1.5. Most trades on outpost are asking over two buds, but as you can see the Degroot is not selling at this price.

There are a couple sellers asking between 1.5 and 2 buds, but their trades are rather fresh.

Wait...what...? Are you proving a Stormy DeGroot here or...? You're not making sense with where you went on this. On here Stormy DeGroot + 1 = 2.6~, but is an outdated price. I don't see where you got 2-2.5 from, nor do I see why you linked 4 Stormy DeGroot trades when you're trying to prove the range of 2-2.5 buds on a Sulphurous Conquistador.

I decided to propose the price 2 -2.5 because of the difficulty I had selling the hat and the outdated price of the Stormy DeGroot. I've attempted to sell this hat on a number of occasions, resulting in few views on my trade and even fewer offers. Here are past trades I've opened for the Conquistador.

As you can see, I did not set a B/O price for any of these trades. Being that the effect was new, and I being unsure of how the community valued and categorized the effects into tiers, I did not set a B/O price. In regards to the trade I provided as my initial evidence, I set my B/O based on the perceived value of the Conquistador with the Sulphorous effect. Most people identify Roboactive and Anti-freeze as being the "God-tier" effects from the robocrates, which then eliminates Sulphorous from being a "God-tier" effect. It also appears that Sulphorous is valued less than it's counterpart, Phosphorous, which on this hat ranges from 3.5 - 4.2. Given the lack of offers and the number of offers I proposed and was rejected from other traders, I deemed 2.-2.5 to be a fair price of this hat.

I see were you are coming from and it's kinda logical. But you hadn't really other offers and the current person has no offers as well so your trade is the only thing to price this hat.

You're right. Would it be best to table the vote? If so? How many transactions does this hat need to be priced adequately? I'm new to pricing unusuals, but I have a strong desire to contribute to the community.

Well the more sales the better, you can find outliers that way.
