Price hasn’t been updated in a loooong time, it is very far off. I traded this hat on June 22nd and have finally got around to compiling a few recent trades to show how much higher it is being traded for. Also, with only 2 on outpost as of July 7, 2013, it is very hard to get if you want one.

This one is a little confusing. Looking at Agua’s backpack, I’m pretty sure he traded the drill for a Ballcap w/ Smoking. The only problem is that the history of the Ballcap shows “unknown” as the previous owner. But with Abominablem’s first trade on outpost being the Drill w/ P. Fetti, this would make sense that the Ballcap w/ Smoking would be unknown due to him not being on outpost ever.

This could possibly be a bad trade due to the extremely incorrect price on backpack.tf or the guy just really liked the Spartan, I’m not sure.

N00bs traded Drill Sergeant’s w/ P. Fetti + Tyrolean w/ Vivid Plasma for Western Wear w/ Harvest Moon + Slope Scopers w/ Nuts and Bolts

To solve the worth of this trade, we can assume that these should be approximately worth the same amount. If the Tyrolean w/ Vivid is 3.2x (~73x Keys) Buds and then the Western w/ Harvest is 3.9x Buds (~89x Keys)+ Slope w/ Nuts is 20x Keys

73 + X = 89 + 20 ==> 73 + X = 109 ==> X = 109 – 73 ==> X = 36x Keys

So, a price of ~ 36x Keys or 1.5x Buds can be inferred from this trade.

This gives us prices of 1.5, 1.5, 1.4, 1.2

I think it is completely okay to remove the 1.2x bud trade as an outlier. Giving this hat a price of 1.4 – 1.5

All Unusual Hat values were found using the low end and all the math done was rounded Down, to give the most conservative estimates. Better to be a little low than a little high imo.
