Please read all and please don't be mean, this is my first suggestion for a hat that needs a price. Also this time I have included proof.
3 worldwide and only one for sale
So basically I've just learnt a lot about pricing my unusuals for the first time.
Offer of a scorching flipped trilby
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11888974
Offer of a blizz killers and a tentative ghosts bubble pipe and a What's in the sandvich box?
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10980376
Somewhere there's an offer of a ghosts Tyrant's helm too, I'll link the other trade with it mentioned.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11796308
All the above trades have a B/O of 7 buds or more (mine is no different)
If anyone is wondering what I payed for this, yes I payed a vivid company man because the guy I bought it off was "Done with TF2 and wanted a nice All-class unusual to end his TF2 days with" and btw the price of the company man needs a change, I bought mine for 1 blizzardy luchadore, a vintage bill's with spectral spectrum on it and a normal black bill's (I also chucked in some sweets)
Buyouts mean nothing, especially if nobody pays them. Personally I think the upper end is a little too high, considering all your proof is of item offers as opposed to pure buds offers.
I understand where you're coming from and respect your comment, thanks for the advice
you should calculate the total price of the items being offered (factoring in overpay) so that it is more clear and easy to see what value everyone is offering.
Thanks for the adviced, certainly noted for future suggestions :)
You can edit your current one to include the values.
Thanks, but for now I'm going to leave it as it is, pure or not it doesn't matter too much to me :)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12200438 - appears to have sold for a burning shako (4.5-4.9): http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,1769026565,251,5
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12331613 - you bought this hat plus a bud with a vivid company man: http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,1749560234,523,5 - vivid company man
http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,1775031116,143,6 - earbud transferred
Previous sales don't really support the high price you have suggested...
Yes, he quicksold the hat to me, he wanted my hat desperately he was quitting the game, I don't think you looked at the C/O's...
And as I said the company man should not be as cheap as it is. I payed over 5 buds for mine. + your proof is irrelevant people can sell their hats for whatever they want, it doesn't have to be the most expensive, personally I would've taken the scorching trilby. just because someone quicksold it to me doesn't mean that the maximum potential I could receive should drop.
People can sell their hats for whatever they want. I'm not trying to speculate as to what price you or someone else will sell this hat at, but rather what it has sold for in the past. Tomorrow a burning TC could drop to 2 buds, I don't know. What I do know is what it has sold for, and that is the price we base things on.
Thus, based on previous sales, your suggested high price is a bit high. If you manage to sell for over 6.5 buds, then that's great. But for now, I'm not too sure of this price.
Well I appreciate the point you're trying to get across, but we also base things on C/Os and some of these C/Os happen to be higher than my suggested price. All C/Os were over the minimum price I have included so I think the price I have suggested is fair and reasonable. And like I said it's unfair to include my trade with the previous owner as he 'quicksold' it to me to get what he wanted.
Downvoted, sorry. The range is way too big.
My proof is from 4.5 to 7, what did you expect me to do?
Well, good point... Up vote.
