Hello,

So I have just recently sold this Cloud 9 Croc, 1 of 1 in existence, for a Circling Hearts Dappers + Smoking Ol Geezer. Together, those unusuals are worth about 4.2-4.8 buds. I have suggested 4.1-4.7 as the price for this hat due to underpay in promos.

Here is the proof of the trade:

Before people flip out about how overpay is calculated, please note that hearts dapper original suggestion showed it gets 4 pure easily. Combine that to the smoking ol' geezer and the price here isn't that far off.

EDIT: currently a few B/O of 4. This one has a high offer in the ballpark of ~4-4.3 - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8915009

I'd say 3.6 may be a value after overpay. + 0.6 for smoking ol geezer. ~4.2-4.3. Eh, this is close enough

Looks good. You got an upvote from me.

If its a 1 of 1, it should have a flat price. 4.2 should be that flat price.

Eh, everything is an estimate anyways. How do you come up with 4.2? The price on the dappers and the ol' geezer are both inaccurate. Valuing them at a flat 4.2 is in and of itself inaccurate. A range imo represents the uncertainty here and is close enough to what the actual value is

Overpay is low end of the unusual. So 3.6 +.6 = 4.2

In pretty much all of these 1 of 1 hats, I have seen and been told the same thing, they should not have a range.

My point is this. 3.6-4 is NOT necessarily the price of the dapper. That original suggestion was for 4-4.5 and it got bumped down due to currency change. Same issue with ol' geezer. Listed unusual values on this site are NOT accurate and should NOT be used to calculate values of other hats. Calculating overpay on already undervalued hats is only making current hat prices more inaccurate.

imo, the rule of 1 of 1 hats having a flat range goes out the window these days when unusual values are uncertain. Flat prices should only apply to 1 of 1 or rare hats that are sold in pure. Every other sale has a degree of uncertainty reflected in the range.

        Got my upvote.

          Seems reasonable. Upvoted.

Well, voters think it is close enough. It's like .3 buds off, which I guess is acceptable.
