Suggestion: Earbuds at 22–23 keys

Because there are a lot of buyers for 22. If someone wanted just 22 they would go to buyers. Not open a classified, also, yesterday I saw some for 22 on the classifieds.

im betting its the summer sale.. everyone is selling buds for keys fast to sell on the community market for steam cash to buy games on sale. (all keys have gone down $0.25 on the community market too)

I'm iffy on this. I've had no issues selling buds in a day or less at 23 keys for the past few weeks. I see the proof, but I'm hesitant because the Steam Summer Sale is on right now and people seem to be ravenous for keys, since they're a commodity that's so easily converted to currency on the Market.

It's difficulty to classify so many trades as "quicksales", but that may be exactly what this is. People want to move their buds fast to buy the latest flash sale game, so they price theirs a key lower than everyone else. Most of the trades are closed, meaning they're predictably selling like hotcakes at 22. It makes sense to me, and if this were any other item I'd probably upvote. But since it's earbuds, which are for all practical reasons a currency, I can't justify it yet.

And yes, I respect that other opinions may differ. My two cents.

Proof of you able to sell buds for 23 keys easily?

Here's my trades, though people usually just add me instead of posting. Also some screenshots I just took of trades from my Steam inventory history. I sold one on the 8th, 2 on the 6th, 3 on the 5th, and there are more before that if you need more proof. Just to give you an idea of the speed, that trade at the bottom of the July 6th image is me trading a hat for 3 buds at 1:42pm, then selling two at 9:21/9:22.

23 still on the range, 22 is not a quicksell because it is common, this is a currency, is normal get sold fast, just like keys.

Not really, earbud is used for currency as unusual trading, there are big hats of ~15 buds that you just cant put 300 keys on the trading section, then you buy buds for the normal price just to save the time of counting 300 keys on the trade section.

I guess its getting time to change currency on all unusuals to keys... this isnt going the right way...

From my personal experience I know selling at 23 keys is still possible; that's why we can keep it in the range. But buying at 22 keys is easy as well; so yeah, upvote from me.

Hasn't one of the admins here said that tf2finance is not valid evidence? I would assume the same applies for trade.tf. I want to say it was cleverpun.

Both tf2finance and trade.tf should not be used as "price is now x,y"-proof, but as long term development. Short term changes on both sites can be faked.
