B/o: 36 keys
Offers:
Bubbling AA (~22 keys)
Stormy CounterCock + sweets (~32? keys)
Nuts Softcap + Smoking Pith (~32 keys)
1 bud + 6 keys (bud price 2 weeks ago = 23 keys) (~29 keys)
O.Fire Handyman + P.Fetti Capotain (~30 keys)
Only one visible and valid sale. Another sale happened but there was some scamming and lying going on, as explained in the bottom portion of here: http://gyazo.com/160c6d6d9442d121ef1181f1c195413d
It IS clearly getting MUCH higher offers than what the current price is, but this is what I can see as fair. Any help is appreciated.
Also many thanks to Mr.Watch, as seen in that screenshot.
^_^
When calculating the worth of an unusual offer what's generally accepted is to take the mid-value of the unsusual and then multiply by 0.9. This accounts for unusual overpay.
Your range is a little too narrow for my liking and the max limit is a bit too high, so I'm going to downvote for now.
It keeps changing, from what I've seen. Since I've started doing suggestions here, I've seen the mid price only, top price *0.9, and also what you've said, all accepted. What I'm doing here is what has worked for me in the past, so I'm sticking with it for now.
If it is too narrow, what would you suggest?
EDIT: Who keeps disliking his comment? He's giving actual advice, which I have asked for. Nothing wrong with that.
Just use the low range ....
EDIT: your overpay is too low D:
Steaming Pot (~25 keys) ... what? its 1 bud
also dont count paints
Yeah if your range isnt based on pure offers/sales you should resuggest :I
If enough people tell me to use one system I will change, otherwise, as I have said, I will stay like this :c
Steaming pot I used the mid range, as I did with every other unusual.
There was a 29 key pure offer, as well as a 27 key one. So should I suggest something like 27-32? I really feel that 32 should be the high end, since unusual offers were around that, and the one valid sale was apparently closer to 2 buds.
Yeah, I've also seen a bunch of different methods. It'd be nice to have something in the FAQ to go off but alas.
As for the price range, only one of the sales falls into that range. The trade for the capotain was worth only 15 + a few keys. Even if paint added to the value of an unusual (which it doesn't), the capotain is still worth nowhere near a bud.
And sure, it may have been a good deal on that guy's part, but since so few trades have been made, this really should be in the range. But yeah, I have noticed that a fair few offers fall into this range so I'm a bit on the fence about the range.
Color changing paints do tend to add to the value, especially in this case, since that seems to be why he took such a crappy unusual for it. There were more sweets added, with a possible number of keys, based on what he said in the capotain owner's trade. This is why I'm not sure about my range still.
